- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Children need books like this to expand their imagination, and at any age, relearn the ability to imagine using internal resources and see possibilities in every day things. I am not keen on any substitution for the imagination, and this is a great introductory reminder of that, a combination of luxurious tender care and crisp humour weaving through it. I look forward to more adventures by this author.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I love this book, if I'm feeling down just looking at the images in it makes me feel happier. I first came across Inhae Lee's work on her blog of the same name and loved it enough to buy the book when it came out.The sheer creativity and talent in this book is mind blowing, the images are both simple and incredibly complex and the humor just shines through.I really can't stress enough how happy these images, characters and stories make me.

Milk Tooth: n. Baby tooth; One of a child’s first temporary teeth, whiter and smaller than permanent teeth, resembling the color of milk.
Milk Toof: n. One of two adventurous little baby teeth belonging to the author, named ickle and Lardee. (See Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.)
When I was young and a milk tooth fell out, I would place it under my pillow and go to sleep. Then, in the morning, a shiny new quarter would magically appear in its place. As with most children, I said good-bye to my fair share of milk teeth through this mysterious exchange. When I asked where they went, I was told they had gone to live safely with the Tooth Fairy. But where is that I wondered? And, most importantly, would I ever see them again?
Over time, I forgot all about my little milk teeth. I grew up. I moved to a new city. And if I had stopped to remember them, I would have thought that they had also forgotten about me.
But then, many years later, there was a knock at my door…
