She start...view moreAleena Chaudhary is twelve years old and is the first place winner for the 4th grade adopt a school essay contest on 2010 organized by Denton independent school district. She started writing since she was a child, but got motivated by a teacher in her school. She also participated in an essay contest organized by Barnes and Nobel in 2011. She was selected by duke talent search in 2012. She also attended a reading program organized by Texas Christian University. She has been in EXPO (gifted and talented kids) since she was in pre-k. She lives in Denton TX, with her family and this is her first story book being published. She has been to Asia and many other countries and many other states in the U.S. She likes to play clarinet, read books, travel, play soccer, dance and she also knows three other languages besides English.view less
