Susy Klinger studiert seit ca. 2003 die schottische Musik und fährt regelmäßig ans College of Piping nach Glasgow, um Einzelunterricht zu nehmen. 2012 begann Susy den Unterricht bei Willie McCallum, einem der weltbesten Dudelsackspieler und Gastlehrer der Dudelsackschule. Sehr früh in ihrer Dudelsack-Karriere nahm Susy an Wettbewerben teil und erreichte nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern auch in Schottland große Erfolge. So war sie Gesamtsiegerin im Piobaireachd der CLASP in Grad 1 (Wettbewerbe für Amateur-Dudelsackspieler in Schottland) und erzielte 2013 den 3. Platz (von 30 Spielern) beim Archie Kenneth Quaich in Edinburgh. Dies sind nur einige Ergebnisse aus einer langen Liste von internationalen Preisen, die sie gewonnen hat. Susy Klinger spielte einige Jahre bei einer renommierten Dudelsackband in Deutschland, bevor sie zur Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band nach Schottland wechselte, um dort für einige Saisons mitzuspielen. Die Band war zu dieser Zeit sehr erfolgreich in Grad 2 und gewann viele Wettbewerbe. In dieser Zeit konnte Susy enorm viel Erfahrung in allen Bereichen des Dudelsackspielens sammeln. Durch ihren Beruf als Lehrerin kennt sich Susy bestens mit der Lernstoffvermittlung an Kinder und Jugendliche aus. Zurzeit arbeitet Susy sehr intensiv an ihrer Solokarriere und unterrichtet in der Dudelsackschule viele Schüler aus dem ganzen Land. Mit der Gestaltung des Dudelsack-Lehrbuches für Kinder legte Susy einen Meilenstein. Sie entwickelte damit das weltweit erste Dudelsack-Lehrbuch für Kinder.
