About this ebook
Love, Faith, and Survival is a Poetry Book that takes you on a provocative yet personal journey of expression. The collection gives fresh insight and a passionate voice to the experiences of love lost, love found, and the pain of black love suppressed. It explores very honestly, the tailspin of betrayal, regret, loss, and the pressures of the black experience. It leaves you with the satisfaction of victory through balancing love of self, love of community, love of heritage and love of The Most High.
Gabriel-Ndima
Gabriel-Ndima is a Philly native, who spent much of his childhood on a quest for knowledge; reading all kinds of books and learning all he could about a wide range of subjects. The oldest of only two children born to his parents, Gabe had a substantial amount of time to get lost in RPGs, movies, and books of varying genres. This fueled his creativity and writing soon became second nature. With the added talent of singing, his love of writing took on new feats for many of the music groups he helped form during his post high school years. Gabe has since spent a lot of his writing time dedicated to the teachings that The Most High has called him to and now extends his pen towards some of his other interests, starting with his first co-authored poetry book, Love, Faith & Survival.

We’d like to give a shout out to the teachers we’ve both had over the years who encouraged us, believed in our talents, exposed us to various forms of artistic expression, who poured into us when and where we needed it most. A special highlight to our High School and College English and Fiction Writing teachers; you all made sure we had the tools needed to keep falling in love with writing and the writing process.

To our community of friends and loved ones, we thank you for being present over the years to witness, encourage, critique, add to, appreciate, influence and inspire our different gifts. We are blessed to have you, from beloved cousins and childhood friends, to aunts and uncles, church family, coworkers, chosen family and more. Some we have written with and for. Some have gone before us to publish their own books and encourage us to do the same. Some have helped us to be confident by giving us repeated opportunities to showcase our talents. Most importantly, are those of you who have shown up for us, in the most genuine ways, consistently. We appreciate you!
