Yes. They will do. They will do quite nicely, Audrey thought. Derek had already been quite taken with the lovely Clover. He had played it down in the car, but Audrey knew her husband. Young, sure. But also self-assured and confident in her desirability as a woman. And she was just his type. Derek naturally gravitated towards tall, slim women such as Audrey herself. Clover would be a home run, especially with those glorious breasts and her fiery red hair.

And her friend was no slouch either. Even partially obscured by Clover’s body, Audrey could see enough to be impressed. Of course, Clover would have the pick of the litter, so to speak. But, still. While the young man had obviously not come into his full growth, there was an impressive breadth of shoulder to work with. His profile was clean, though his nose was a little beaky. And from the way Clover was rubbing his crotch, Audrey had to believe his equipment was more than adequate.

She took Derek’s hands and moved them to the buttons that ran up her spine, holding her dress closed. This would need to be...delicate. She would have to find the proper moment. Too late, catch them naked, and they would be so embarrassed and ashamed it wouldn’t matter what sort of lure she threw across their path.

At her back, her dress gaped wide. She pulled it down, letting it hang in casual folds from her hips. Luckily she had gone braless this evening, in anticipation of a fun evening. She turned to Derek, eyeing him contemplatively. Getting half-naked would put her and Clover on even terms. But her boyfriend might look at Derek as a rival. She settled for undoing the top button of his dress shirt and taking off his sports coat, which gave him a somewhat rumpled, casual look.

Thank God he already had the tie off.

And then they were out of time, as Clover’s bra was loosed and she gave a cute little moan as her boyfriend reached for her breasts. Audrey shot Derek a look. He took her hint, taking two steps forward, just loud enough to be heard, and drawled, “Isn’t that just like a boy. Goes straight for the tits.”

Clover gasped, her hands rising to cover herself. Audrey followed her husband forward, into the light. “Be nice, dear,” she said, echoing his casual tone. “I seem to remember you doing the same thing yourself. And they’re very nice tits, after all.

Chapter One

I think we’re going to have to look into getting a new babysitter, Audrey said as she and her husband dressed for dinner.

Derek paused in the act of knotting his tie and cocked an eyebrow at her. Oh? Why?

Audrey smoothed her dress down over her thighs. It looked good on her, and she knew it. Long enough to be classy, short enough to make sure their clients got a good look at her legs, if they wanted to. And a lot of them did. "The kids don’t like Victoria. When I told Marilyn we were going out next Friday, she wasn’t happy that Victoria was going to be watching her and Billy. She told me Victoria was mean, and she didn’t want her sitting her and Billy anymore.

And I think she’s a thief, too. I can’t swear to it, but I think she’s been in my jewelry box. She opened the item in question and put on a pair of earrings – rubies set in silver, they had been a gift from Derek on their tenth anniversary. Nothing stolen, but things are out of order. And I know for a fact there’s been money going missing from my nightstand. I always keep a little emergency fund in there. Her lips curled up naughtily as her husband chuckled. You know. In case I need to give someone a tip when we’ve been…entertaining.

Well, if she’s a thief, she’s gone, Derek said philosophically. Good thing your parents are watching the kids tonight. But lord knows we shouldn’t have much trouble finding another sitter. This entire neighborhood is lousy with kids.

Audrey smiled at the mock-disgust in his voice. You’re the one who wanted to get out of the city and find someplace better for the kids, babe, she said, moving behind him. She clasped her arms loosely around his lean waist and leaned her head on his back, her nose breathing in the scent of him. Are you sorry?

He shook his head, black hair gleaming in the low light. Not in the least. I love this house, this neighborhood, this life we have. He raised her hand to his mouth and kissed it, his lips rubbing over her knuckles sensuously. And most of all, I love you.

Audrey’s eyes met Derek’s in the mirror. If things don’t change pretty soon, I think we might need to go shopping again. She shrugged as Derek’s brows drew down. Don’t get me wrong, babe. I like Alex and Kelly. As a couple. But in bed? Not so much. She sighed. I don’t think Alex is really into it, you know? Even last time, when he was screwing me, he kept looking over at you and Kelly. And he had the strangest look on his face. It’s a new neighborhood. Derek shrugged his broad shoulders. We knew it wouldn’t be easy to find people who share our…lifestyle. It is what it is. We have a date with Alex and Kelly next Friday. And if it doesn’t work out, we’ll break it off and start looking again.
