Ramsey was born in Salt Lake City, UT, raised in Salt Lake City, UT, married and had a family in Salt Lake City, UT and will more than likely die there as well. Don't feel too bad; Ramsey also enjoys traveling to places other than Salt Lake City, UT. In a motor home with a Jeep towing behind it she tours the United States just for fun. An accounting technician by profession (odd, I know), she does payroll for one of the municipal entities in (you guessed it), the Salt Lake City, UT area. Writing is the passion that has driven her since she could pick up a pencil. Receiving her Associate's Degree from Salt Lake Community College, and her Bachelor's Degree from WGU, she continues to work on perfecting her trade by continuing to take classes. Always looking for new educational experiences, she is a certified diver, studied sign language and French, has been in local plays and even went through a Citizen's Police Academy. Confusion filled Veronica, making it difficult to concentrate. Standing in the open room, looking at a community board filled with posters for train rides, lectures, and tours of various types, only enhanced the sensation. She struggled to remember what she was doing here, but the brochure in her hand told her she was participating in a walking tour of the city.

Glancing around her, she looked at the two people who held clipboards and acted like tour directors, but they held an edge to them reminiscent of someone on the upper level of a chain of command. The idea stuck in her head like gum on the bottom of your shoe. Chain of command. The words rolled and twisted and brought hazy images that she couldn’t pin down. Looking back at the board, she shook her head. None of the activities listed provoked a desire in her, and taking the tour she apparently signed up for didn’t sound particularly appealing either.

Veronica, one of the people who looked like they were in charge said. Coming up behind her, she placed her hand on Veronica’s shoulder, creating a desire in her to pull away from the unsolicited touch. Are you ready?

She didn’t want to ask what she was ready for because she couldn’t remember exactly where she was or why she was here, but she didn’t want to expose her confusion. It wasn’t exactly suspicion that kept her silent, but she felt that providing too much information or showing any kind of weakness wasn’t something you should do.
