The first thing we think of when thinking of witchcraft is magic. What is magic?

Magic is defined (also in dictionary) as the ability to influence or change events or occurrences, with supernatural or mystical force. Magic is also used to describe soemone using mysterious or supernatural arts or abilities.

Witchcraft is the practice of believing in supernatural powers or forces. Using whatever the practioner believes in they will also commonly use spell workings and rituals.
