About this ebook

There are many reasons that, we as Christians, suffer from disunity, relational breakups, and lack of respect and/or care for one another. A Glimpse of God addresses these issues and many more so we can better understand how to live the victorious life God promised us. We can blame the world all we want, but we must look at ourselves always through the eyes of His glorious Word. Hosea 4:6a: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (of God and His ways)..." Psalm 107:20: "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions (relationships with one another and/also God)."

    Dedication

To all people, who were, and still are, negatively affected by incomplete, imagined or misunderstood information about the God of the Bible.

It is for all the innocent people that were wounded by religions with questionable and incorrect understandings that made us walk away from the church, fall away, be pushed away from God, or just gave up on God. Lack of proper knowledge and divine understanding keeps us from God’s spiritual prosperity that paves the way to become the kind of people He desires.

God knows and understands our frustrations. He knows that needless suffering is created by our lack of His knowledge and divine understanding that forces us and others to make choices and decisions that affect, not only our lives, but also the lives of others in ways we never thought would, even if we did it by an imagined or blind faith.

The choices and decisions we had to make were made by our own or others’ understandings and/or influenced by our or their respective imaginations that created experiences that did not profit us in the long term and led us into a life of confusion, emptiness and sorrow.

Even as Christians, we may have thought we were walking on God’s path and doing things God’s way, not realizing we really lived out life, our way. Our choice is to exist in life with our own understanding or live life according to the divine understanding God referred to as "the living way of understanding’?

His plans have always been purposeful plans of good and not the vain plans from our thoughts or imaginations. We are called to not only trust Him, but to not lean unto our own understandings.

We are called to pray for His gifted divine understanding, according to His Word. If we so desire, He then will give us His choices, decisions and plans for us, on a moment by moment basis. He is our counselor of truth!

Hopefully, this information will be helpful and revealing so more of His divine wisdom and understanding can come to us. This will cause us all to come back to what we need to know about this walk by divinely revealed truth, as we allow scripture interpret scripture.

His principles of truth really work if we embrace them, live in and by them, keeping faith in them as we prove them out! It is up to us to convince ourselves and renew our own minds by His written Word so others will follow and see the invisible and Holy God at work on our behalf!

Know that God has not forgotten you and is willing to create new beginnings, to then be led, taught and guided by Him into an abiding life that leads into His eternal joy. It was His intent when our glimpse of God and His Kingdom came by the revelation through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

He promised He would never leave us or give up on us! His Word is life to those that desire to experience it as a priority and on a daily basis. It is our instructive and nutritional food for our inner man that comes by and through the Holy Spirit that is always hovering over His Word. It is there to teach and instruct us so His Word might dwell within us for our good and so He can do great things for us and through us.

His written Word is likened to a consuming fire that purifies our inner beings, so we can offer up pure prayers to a Holy God. Our spirits are likened to gold that have to become pure, transparent and pliable so He can form us into His image.

It is the life styles of the world, we might live by that allow the impurities of life to come to us through our senses that pollute our inner beings.

It is up to us to feed, bathe and wrap our inner beings for security and comfort to keep us safe from a world gone astray.

It is up to us to abide in and comply with this great gift of God or suffer the consequence of rejection, and God forbid, He rejects us!

It’s is up to us to seize our purpose, redeem the time here and live out His inspired life!

    Introduction

We live in a world that is full of distractive and compelling stimulations that keep us from living the inspired life we really long for. It is not that we do not want to live lives of inspiration, but we probably want to live them out our way and not the way our Creator designed us to live them. Yes, He does allow us to do things our way, for a season, and then we see how our choices create complicated and confused situations. We then can throw up our hands and give up on this life of emotional information that kept us pulsated. We even thought we could create some kind of lasting happiness, and all we got was stress and then had to face death! How vain!

It is God that created our spirits, which are His inspiration! This gifted inspiration can also re-create, thus magnifying God. It is that inspiration that makes us live lives of awe! When we recognize where the inspiration came from, we will see Him as the Genius Creator, our Perfect Inspiration. When we realize He is also holy, we are stunned! Are we willing to count the cost to live life His way and do things His way, listening for His moment by moment choices for us?

There is a blessing to this awareness and/also a potential sober side if our lives are not harnessed by God. We need Him to keep us prioritized and balanced. In the book of Job 32:8, the Spirit says, There is a spirit in man, and the inspiration of the Almighty gives inspired understanding.

It is the spirit, gifted to us, where inspired understanding dwells to do great things! Knowledge is power, but without a holy and divine understanding it can become vain and a judgmental torment! Also, if that spirit, gifted to us, becomes rebellious, it will create negative thought. It will not subject itself to God and will do things its way that can become an unprofitable and/or destroying spirit.

The sober but needful concern is in 2 Timothy 3:16-17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Should becoming godly (holy) a goal in life?

This speaks of the gift of the spirit of inspiration, in us that will only be profitable for us and others only if we do things God’s way and not our way. We will then stop yielding to questionable imaginations and worldly mind-sets.

The written works of the Bible are His guideposts that show us what is imagined and what is inspired. If we are not willing to learn to discern between the two, we will live double minded lives of unsuccessful vanity.

We will also show, by confirmed and living testimonies, how this is done and that it is pleasing to God. It is His good pleasure to give us these timeless truths that we can trust in, as we apply them and prove them out. Through the truths of God, along with His divine understanding, we can overcome this mostly imagined and overwhelming life. Like the Bible says, Give me (inspired) understanding and I shall live (Psalm 119:169).

Why not live an inspired destiny?

    Inspiration

Inspiration is the manifestation of genius by and through a person or entity that creates a feeling of wonderment, being awestruck. Consider our planet earth. The intricacies of this planet and how it functions along with its beauty is something that our minds cannot even comprehend. Compare this earth to the rest of the universe. The earth is but a speck of dust compared to other galaxies, which to us are like a dust cloud in a wide-open country! That makes us humans like micro specks of dust compared to the size of our planet. Ponder that thought!

Let’s say there is a Genius Creator. If He, the GC, created us, why did He not put us on the moon or some other desolate planet? Why did He place Man here, where the environment functions in harmony with itself so we can enjoy it? Was this planet created to show man how magnificent God is and how insignificant man really is? And yet it is said that the GC is mindful of miniature man that He created. That would suggest that GC is able to micromanage man to grow us into what He designed us to become.

We all have imaginations that are a form of inspiration that can create our respective understandings. The imagination can only create something with information and elements that have already been created by the GC. We deceive ourselves when we say, I invented this or that. No, the GC gave you His inspired understanding, His gift, to teach you how to create something based upon what He has already created.

It is like a giving a child a puzzle. They look at the puzzle, studying every piece, putting it together, and then the picture is formed. How can we say we created that puzzle? At best, we are co-laborers in bringing solutions to solve the problems of life. So who should really get the
