    About the Author

Breaking news came on and his face was smeared all across the United States. A face that Glenda was familiar with.

A pastor’s exploitation of a fifteen-year-old minor that started at age thirteen.

Another piece of international breaking news about a minister being charged for sexual molestation of an eight-year-old girl, who now at age twelve confided in her mother, after the advice of a pastor to remove her from the home and contact the authorities.

This book exposes the sins of men of God who hide behind the church, forgetting that the day of reckoning will come. Homosexual musicians in the closet mentally and emotionally abusing their spouses, hiding their deep secrets until after marriage, only to be found out much later and causing heartbreak and pain with little or no remorse.

Men hiding behind the church and physically abusing their spouses, who get accustomed to acting and pretending that everything is okay, for fear of additional abuse.

It is time for these behaviors to be exposed. Satan’s trickery need to be exposed for God in his Word has never hid the frailties or deprivation of men.

Unless exposed, it will continue and we will all be held accountable before a Holy God for not exposing the devil for who he really is.

Some of today’s televangelists makes us believe that we can live our lives and do whatever we want and hide behind God’s grace and mercy as if it were a trump card to get us into heaven; but do not be deceived, for the Word of God says, Be not deceived; God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap.

    Chapter 1

Glenda’s cell phone was buzzing as she got up that morning. It was going to be a busy day for her as one of the three dogs had just lost its right front leg in an incident with her female pit bull and had to go for extensive therapy.

As she retrieved the call, she could hear the anxiety in the voice.

Have you seen the news yet? Please call me. Judging by the urgency in her voice she knew that something was very wrong.

As she made the call she wondered what the emergency was.

The pastor that you know is on television.

On television? she asked. Is he preaching or sharing the Word? How wonderful.

No, she said, he is being arrested for having sex with a minor.

His face is all over the United States on television and on the internet. Everyone is talking about it.

Glenda was shocked. She felt helpless. What will happen to his ministry and his sheep of which he is the under-shepherd? So many questions flooded her thoughts.

She reflected on the last time she spoke to the pastor and shared with him what the Lord had placed in her heart.

She reflected on the first time they had met before he was ordained as a pastor.

He was assisting the pastor of the church he was attending, and his wife appeared to be a very nice lady. Hope Church existed for many years and it was a flourishing ministry. It was not a very large church and had approximately two hundred in its congregation.

The pastor was being transferred and the church was being passed down to a faithful brother who was married with a wife and three children. He felt like they were a good match for the ministry as they were faithful to him during his time of service. The congregation knew them and liked the family, and the transfer was going to go smoothly as the new pastor taking over was already familiar with the details on how the ministry was ran.

A week before the transfer, the pastor and his wife sat down with him and his wife and went over the bookkeeping, the financials, and future goals for the ministry.

Departure date came and goodbyes were said. The pastor’s wife cried and was embraced by her husband as they were stepping out by faith into unknown territory after pastoring for twelve years at Hope Church. Their transfer was to a larger church of five hundred members, which they knew would be more challenging for them. They were holding fast to Psalms 7:23, The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way and blesses his path.

The new pastor took over and everything seemed to be going well. The congregation was happy with their new pastor, and the church grew as new members joined the congregation.

A few years went by and one day Glenda attended a special service at the church. After the service, she shared with the pastor something that the Lord had laid on her heart. He listened very attentively and asked her some questions regarding the running of the ministry. They shared some more and he expressed gratitude after their conversation, which was very interesting and informative.

A few months later there was
