About this ebook
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. Have you ever asked someone driving directions and despite their use of numerous words, you did not understand how to get there till they drew you a map? I've noticed Bible verses are like that too. For example, tired and unable to figure out how to handle the stress in my life, I opened my Bible to see what God said. Wow!! There it was... "Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10 In this book you will find 24 illustrations: 1. A drawing with a Bible verse. 2. List of other Bible verses that relate to the drawing. 3. Commentary about the verse and drawing. $. Blank lines to write down your thoughts and memories.

Dedication
This book is dedicated to Jackie Deppe who placed my drawings in her newspaper once a week for over ten years.
A huge thank-you to this courageous, beautiful woman who stepped up to the plate and hit a home run for her Christian faith.
I would also like to thank my favorite Pastor—Steve Johnson. He taught me know the joy of the Lord is my strength
. I truly believe he was sent by God to transform my thinking, improve my life and open my heart to all people.
Favorite Bible Teachers
Very few people get to where they are going without some help. I’d like you to know who has taught me the most since I became born again.
A big, huge thank-you to my favorite writers, radio preachers, and teachers whom I know that I know that I know God sent to me because I got such joy listening to them. Each lesson was full of profound thoughts, all information was carefully researched, and best of all each teacher challenged me
to discover Biblical truths for myself.

And four thank you Jesus
for my friends who taught and continue to teach me. Pastor Steve Johnson, Pastor Frank and Faith Brasel and Wayne Matulis. Wayne provided me with some of the information in the text area next to each of the drawings. He is a self taught Bible scholar who actively seeks out opportunities to share his time and knowledge of the Bible. He is a generous and kind man, much like Jesus. Side note: the man you see in some of the drawings…with the crew cut and flat top is Wayne.
The Bible is an amazing teacher. I have learned so much from it, yet never seem to learn it all. Even passages I know I’ve read before will suddenly appear new and fresh. The Bible is God’s words; a gift from God to the world. Reading it is like being with a very interesting, profound and wonderful friend who always tells you the truth.

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing and reading this book. I created it because I truly care about you and hope you’ll open the door so God can become an important part of your life.
The drawings in this book were created to show you how the words in the Bible relate to your life as a human being living upon the planet earth. Each one was not created with masterful detail; a simple style was chosen to be easy enough for anyone to enjoy and understand. You may have noticed many words and phrases in the Bible are simple too. Yet look closely, almost all of God’s words are profound; the more you think about them, the more interesting they become. For example, Be still and know that I am God…
Psalms 46:10
The drawings in this book are about profound Biblical truths. The word profound is a little hard to understand, but that’s okay. Here is a fun example. Apples
are profound because they have a wonderful crisp, sweet taste and are beautiful to behold. An apple will also nourish and clean your body. A jelly bean
on the other hand tastes great, but that’s it. Most of our words are just like that old jelly bean, but others are profound and have layers and layers of meaning. The Bible is from God; it’s of divine origin and filled to overflowing with profound words and phrases. In it you will find information given to you by God to help you get answers to life’s questions.
The Bible has always been an outstanding book because it contains magnificent, inspirational divine truths. It was written for the scholar and the commoner; yet parts of
