Could Judas Have Been Forgiven?

About this ebook
Could Judas have been forgiven? Did he ask for forgiveness? Will an earthly court adjudge him unforgiveable? Many questions surround the destiny and eternity of the man who sold his Lord and Master for thirty pieces of silver and committed suicide thereafter. But even the divinity of Jesus (in most people's psych) makes Judas more accursed.
Patrick Muntu explores the minds of the opposing sides on these questions. He sums up acknowledging the supremacy of God and conceding the fate of men to judge as men. "Could Judas have been forgiven?" is a question with an answer you should seek.

Chapter 1
Is Judas Not a Hero Today?
One of the widest known, if not celebrated names in the entire universe today, is Judas. Perhaps it comes next to Jesus and the church—two names that Christians of today will not joke over. The name Judas is easily dismissed by Christians who are very emotional about the incident on the cross. Many of them, though, follow his footsteps!
As a perceived betrayer and rogue, most Christians today don’t want to be associated with the name. They will never christen their babies as such. They would rather analyze the dismal shame that was Judas Iscariot’s end. They would talk about Judas as though he lived and died a curse to the Christian faith. But the story of Judas Iscariot is the reality of a lifetime!
A very good percentage of folks today, especially outside the church, will not bear Judas’s name or ascribe glory to him. But this same percentage will do exactly what he did if they were in his shoes. They would rather betray Jesus, or indeed any master, and collect a price on him than defend him. Day-to-day developments.
If a bribe was taken on behalf of the nation Ethiopia by its rulers to release the Ark of the Covenant back to Israel, who says Jesus will not be betrayed for few pieces of silver? If pastors and priests now bribe their ways through to receive titles and promotions in the church, if top pastors now receive huge gratifications to declare their support for politicians, why would they not have done that to Jesus? Truth is that the love of money or mammon rules the
