In the Bible, the Apostle Peter, in 2 Peter 3:2–4 (NIV), declared several things concerning the days in which we live. Under the heading The Day of the Lord, Peter said, I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the COMMAND given by our Lord and Savior (Jesus) through your apostles. FIRST of all, you MUST understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, ‘Where is this ‘coming’ he (Jesus) promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.’

In other words the scoffers in the end times, just prior to Jesus’s Second Coming, would say that Christians have been saying Jesus is coming soon for a long time, but he hasn’t returned yet. They use human, messed-up logic, believing that because Jesus hasn’t returned yet—that he’s not coming at all OR they will say that his return IS ALWAYS HUNDREDS OF YEARS IN THE FUTURE—THAT WAY IT WON’T AFFECT THEM!

Second Peter 3:5–10 (NIV) continues, But they (the end-time scoffers) deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters the world of that time was deluged and destroyed (in the flood of Noah’s day). By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for FIRE, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like (about) a thousand years, and a thousand years are like (about) a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise (to return to earth), as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the Day of the Lord (a 1,007-year-time period, which we will study extensively in this book) will come (begin) like a thief (as a surprise to those not watching for it). The elements will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire (the KJV says fervent heat), and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

As we go through this book, I will show you some original Hebrew and Greek word meanings from the KJV version of the New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance (1996) by Thomas Nelson Publishers. The meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek words from the Bible will shed new light onto many of the scriptures. This can clarify what some of the prophets ACTUALLY meant when they said certain things in the Bible. Some of these will surprise you. Here’s an example of this: for the word roar used in 2 Peter 3:10 (NIV), the KJV Bible uses the phrase great noise. This is the strange Greek phrase huperogkos rhoizedon, which has a very, very interesting meaning. It means A WHIZZING OR A WHIR WITH A CRASH AND A GREAT NOISE THAT CAUSES A GREAT SWELLING OR BULGING. It really means this. I’m not kidding. LOOK AT THIS BOOK COVER FOR AN PICTURE OF THIS!

Now, to understand some of these meanings, you have to remember that these prophets were people who were told to write what they saw and heard using understanding from their day. What they saw and heard, concerning end-time war events, was unlike anything they had ever seen in their day. This GREAT NOISE, this huperogkos rhoizedon, that Peter saw and heard, could be like the sight and sound of a nuclear missile whizzing through the air, exploding on its target and then bulging up as the mushroom cloud moves into the stratosphere in the sky! The prophet was simply explaining what he saw and heard. Peter gave a great description of a nuclear explosion. For the word bare used in 2 Peter 3:10 (NIV), the KJV Bible uses the phrase burned up. The Greek word for this is even more chilling—it is katakaio. Katakaio means to consume wholly or completely burn to the ground—like the intense heat and powerful winds, which nuclear weapons produce.

Second Peter 3:11–12 (NIV), continues, Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God AND SPEED its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire (nuclear fire) and the elements will melt in the heat. The word for speed used here is hasting in the KJV, hastening in the NKJV and speudo in Greek, which means to URGE ON, TO EAGERLY AWAIT, TO ASSIST IN HAPPENING AND TO PRAY TO HAPPEN QUICKER. Do you want Jesus to return soon and do you work towards and pray for Jesus to return soon? This is a trait of watchful Christians. This is what Peter says watchful Christians should be doing.

For the words fire and heat used in 2 Peter 3:10 and 12 (NIV), respectively, the KJV Bible uses the phrase—fervent heat. Peter uses this phrase twice to emphasize it. Fervent heat is the Greek word phrase ektenes kausoo, which means an intense fire which stretches outward! Wow! Have you ever seen a nuclear explosion? According to the US Department of Defense, a thermonuclear explosion produces around 100 million degrees Celsius near its center—WHICH IS HOTTER THAN THE SUN. A nuclear explosion produces a blast wind of up to two thousand mph, stretching out within a half mile of the center of the blast, and up to one thousand mph at two miles from ground zero. The wind will still be around two hundred mph several miles from the center of the nuclear explosion. All buildings would be leveled at these wind speeds.

In light of these things, 2 Peter 3:13–14 (NIV), once again shows what the reaction of watchful Christians to Jesus’s soon return SHOULD BE. Peter said, "But in keeping with his (Jesus’s) promise (to return) we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this (wanting Jesus to return and doing everything you can to speed—Greek, speudo—his return), make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him."

Watchful Christians, who are ready for the Rapture, will be doing their best to live for and serve Jesus until he comes—especially as we see his return drawing near. We will never be perfect, because we are all flawed humans. When Christians see signs of Jesus’s soon return, spoken of by the prophets of the Bible, watchful Christians lives WILL be affected to live in expectation of his coming. They will want to be ready to meet Jesus face-to-face, when he Raptures them up into the CLOUDS in the sky! In this book I’m going to give you signs to watch for—so you can be ready. Signs that show the approach of WWIII, the Rapture and the seven-year tribulation period. Signs of Jesus’s soon return.

Events are on the way that will change the world forever. The shadows of these mind-blowing events are even now moving across planet earth and VERY, VERY FEW people realize what to watch for or what’s about to happen. These events will lead to a nuclear WWIII, which will trigger the Rapture of the watchful church of Jesus Christ. Then, about seven years later, the Second Coming of Jesus Christ will take place at the battle of Armageddon, where Jesus and his armies of heaven will return to earth to destroy the armies of the Antichrist. Jesus will then take control of planet earth and set up his one-thousand-year millennial kingdom on this planet from Jerusalem, Israel.

Peace, true world peace, will finally come to this war-weary planet when Jesus rules over the earth. During the one-thousand-year millennial reign of Jesus, most of the earth that was made desolate by WWIII and the following seven years of tribulation, will be restored to be like the garden of Eden. Although, as we will see in this book, certain parts of earth will be left un-restored as an example to the people born in the millennium of what happens to nations who turn against the Lord God Almighty. The Bible says Jesus, shall rule over them with a rod of iron (Revelation 2:27, KJV) during his one-thousand-year millennial kingdom reign of this planet, to ensure that peace remains upon the earth. Jesus will be a benevolent dictator, unlike the multitudes of evil men who were dictators in earth’s past.

Many, many scriptures, describe this wonderful time of peace on earth. God spoke to the people of Israel concerning the one-thousand-year kingdom reign of Jesus on this planet in Ezekiel 36:33–38 (NIV). He said, This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you (Israel) from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. They will say, ‘This land (of Israel) that was laid waste (because of WWIII and the seven years of tribulation which followed) has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited.’ Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the Lord have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it. This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Once again I will yield to the plea of the house of Israel and do this for them: I will make their people as numerous as sheep, as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts. So will the ruined cities (of Israel) be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

The millennium will be a one-thousand-year time of unprecedented beauty, peace and prosperity on earth like the world has never seen before. The prophet Zechariah said, The Lord (Jesus) will be king over the whole earth. On that day (the one-thousand-year millennial reign portion of the 1,007-year Day of the Lord, which we will study in this book) there will be one Lord, and his name the only name… On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses (Zechariah 14:9 and 20, NIV).

How neat that time will be, as Jesus reigns over planet earth, peace will reign over this planet—finally! The Prince of Peace, King Jesus, will be ruling over this war-weary planet for one thousand years and then for eternity. Evil men’s rule of planet earth is about to end! There is a bumper sticker, which I’ve seen, that applies here. It says, Know Jesus, Know Peace; No Jesus, No Peace. Every attempt by this evil world to find peace without Jesus WILL FAIL! It will fail miserably. There is no peace without Jesus.

These examples of the peace that Jesus will bring to this world are why, we who are watchful believers, want him to return soon. It’s why we long for him to return soon. It’s why we want to speed (Greek, speudo) his return by praying for and working for his soon return. Only Jesus can bring true peace to earth—no man ever will. We don’t long for the terrible end-time judgments to take place, but we know that they MUST take place in order to cleanse the earth of evil men for the one-thousand-year millennial reign of Jesus. Jesus is coming back to make things right in this world—to make things the way they should have been before man messed it up. Only Jesus can bring world peace—ONLY JESUS!

What are God’s intentions in all this? God the Father’s endgame is to put his Son Jesus upon the throne of planet earth, so the world peace that we’ve longed for can finally come. God’s intentions are summed up in Psalm 2:6–9 (NIV), I have installed (as soon as God declares it, it’s as good as done!) my King (Jesus) on Zion, my holy hill (the Temple Mount in Jerusalem). I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: (the NIV Study Bible text notes say that this is a coronation decree—LIKE WHEN A KING IS CROWNED. This is King Jesus—King over planet earth—SOON AND VERY SOON!) He (God the Father) said to me (Jesus), ‘You are my Son; today I have become your Father. Ask of me, AND I WILL MAKE THE NATIONS YOUR INHERITANCE, THE ENDS OF THE EARTH YOUR POSSESSION. You (Jesus) will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery (in the great judgments of the end times). Amen.

Jesus will rule planet earth for one thousand years and then forever from his throne in Jerusalem, which is also called the city of the Great King (Psalm 48:2, NIV). There are those in this world who are seeking to divide Jerusalem to give half of it to the Palestinians. This is forbidden by God and will lead to a disaster of unprecedented proportions, when it’s attempted, in soon-coming Middle East peace talks. To those of you who agree with this idea of dividing Israel and Jerusalem and moving Israel’s borders back to Israel’s pre-1967 borders to create a so-called Palestinian State: I warn you that you have no idea of who and what you are messing with. Destruction—total annihilation like that described in 2 Peter 3 will come to ANY NATION that agrees to sign on to this idea. This proposal to divide Jerusalem and Israel has come up in the past in UN resolutions 242, 338 and 2334, which propose moving Israel’s borders back to the pre-1967 war borders. I believe that WWIII may be the DIRECT RESULT of the UN attempting to FORCE this upon Israel, through peace talks, and thus causing or possibly even sanctioning a gigantic Russian/Islamic invasion of Israel to enforce it! Watch!

I write this book as a warning to the world of what the Lord God Almighty has shown me is about to happen. The storm clouds of WWIII are gathering. Horrible destruction is soon coming to this earth as a result of man’s hatred of the God of the Bible, and the Jewish people. Anti-Semitism is growing worldwide and will be a major driving force, the gasoline, behind a Russian/Islamic attack on God’s people—Israel. This WWIII conventional attack on Israel will ramp up quickly into a nuclear war between Russia and the United States, leaving both nations devastated. This will reset the world’s power structure. God Almighty will protect Israel through this battle—a battle from which Israel will emerge to become the most feared and powerful nation on earth! That’s right, you heard me—ISRAEL! Israel will even expand their borders and build their third temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. All of this will be explained in this book.

Watchful believers in Jesus, who have been watching world events with anticipation, will experience a wonderful event. The King of the Universe, the Son of the Most High God and our Savior, Jesus Christ, is coming back to earth soon—to get us. He’s coming back into earth’s sky to rescue his watchful church IMMEDIATELY BEFORE the destruction of nuclear WWIII takes place. Jesus will take us to heaven as seven years of absolute terror, absolute horror beyond comprehension, will follow it. Jesus is coming back to remove his watchful church, as immediate nuclear judgment then falls upon this earth. It will be just as Noah and his family were rescued safely upon the Ark. Once God himself closed the door of the Ark to make sure Noah was safe, IMMEDIATE judgment fell from the sky in the form of a deluge of forty days of rain.

Also, Jesus’s coming at the Rapture, will be just as Lot and his family were rescued, when God sent angels to get them out of Sodom. As the angels ran with Lot and his family out of Sodom, the judgment of fire came down IMMEDIATELY behind them. It was so immediate that the angels said to run and don’t look back, which, of course, they all did except for Lot’s wife. Lot’s wife turned back to look at what she was leaving behind and was killed, as she turned into a pillar of salt. Jesus said his coming would be as it was in the days of Noah and Lot—using the SAME PROPHETIC EXAMPLE OF RESCUE, THEN IMMEDIATE JUDGMENT. We will examine this thoroughly in this book. Jesus himself is coming back to rescue (Rapture) those who are waiting for him (Hebrews 9:28, NIV), with an IMMEDIATE JUDGEMENT, a world shaking WWIII nuclear war, then breaking out upon planet earth.

According to Bible-Prophecy.com, May 2019, and several other sources over one-third of the Bible is prophetic, with approximately one-fourth prophetic concerning the end-times and beyond. Fulfilled prophecy is proof that God’s word in the Bible is truth. Jesus fulfilled many Old Testament prophecies, when he came to earth the first time. Jesus has promised to return to earth and when he does, he will fulfill many more prophesies. I’ve always been interested in history and one of the best history books available is the Bible. The Bible describes past history and future history. Bible prophecy is the history of the future written down for us to read today.

When I was ten years old, God brought a succession of teachers to me in our church. These teachers gave me a love of Jesus Christ and his Second Coming. From my Sunday school teacher to two fantastic youth leaders, I learned to love the message of Christ’s return. They taught the message of Jesus’s Second Coming without compromise. This message burned in my heart and I wanted to learn as much as I could about it…and so I did. I always felt, that at the proper time in the future, he would use me in an end-time role to warn people of what would soon take place. That time is now.

For fifty years I have studied the Bible and read as many books as I could on Jesus Christ’s return to earth, in preparation to write what God has taught me about Jesus’s return. Why did God choose me? I have asked myself that several times. Many times God chooses the lowly to do his greatest work—not the learned and powerful but the small and humble. God had his son Jesus work as a simple carpenter to help prepare him for his great salvation ministry at age thirty. God chooses to use those who will humbly listen to him and do as he asks—to do what some of the more learned or those in higher positions may not be willing to do or say. I am not a Bible scholar or a professor with many master’s degrees to his name. I am just a simple servant of God—no one special. God has given me a simple, straightforward understanding of end-time Bible prophecy and has asked me to share it with other average folks…and so I am. THIS, SO YOU CAN GET READY FOR WHAT’S AHEAD.

I was a machinist for thirty-three years and in all that time God was preparing me for a future time when I would share what he taught me—with you. That time is now. Like Moses, I am not a great speaker, so God taught me to write down my thoughts. He has directed me to put my thoughts into book form. Some of you may not like what I say. Some of you may have heard a different version of this prophetic Bible story. That’s okay, because God told me to share it the way he showed it to me. I’m not supposed to make you believe this information. I’m just supposed to share it—to warn you out of love…and so I will.

The old saying the proof is in the pudding relates here. If you don’t believe what you read in this book, watch world events as Jesus said to do. These events will show you who God has spoken to—and who he has not. They will also show you how close Jesus’s return could be. I will show you several specific signs to watch for that are happening and are being prepared to happen. Signs that show how near Jesus’s return could be. I am writing this book as a result of what the Lord has shown me over fifty years. God had to hit me hard with a major physical problem to get me to stop working as a machinist and to have time to write down what he has shown me. I was a somewhat reluctant prophet like Jonah, although a better word for what I am is a watchman.

I would still be working in the factory, where I worked for over thirty years, if God wouldn’t have allowed a major bacterial infection from a spider bite (a big wolf spider) to send me to the hospital. That infection nearly killed me the night that I went into the hospital. It would have, except for the quick thinking of a doctor, who did emergency surgery at midnight to save my life. That infection ate a big hole in my hand and left me partially disabled. This forced me out of my job and into retirement. God had bigger plans ahead for me, for which he has been preparing me for fifty years—to write this book as one of his watchman on earth to give people warning of what is about to happen.

This book is a warning done out of love. You will find that I repeat some ideas several times in this book. I believe repetition helps you to remember. This is a part one of two books that I am writing on this subject. WWIII part 2 will give you much more information on the two men who are, today, fulfilling the Bible prophesies to become the Antichrist and the False Prophet. In WWIII part 2, I will also give you detailed information on Russia and their allies’ extensive preparations for WWIII, United States preparations for WWIII and where we are at specifically as far as the timing of these things. I think this will surprise you! WWIII part 2 will come out when God shows me it’s time to release it. God’s timing is perfect.

I am living with great excitement and anticipation that Jesus is coming back to this earth very soon. I hope that I can give you some of that excitement as you read this first book—WWIII Part One: The Rapture, The Russian/Islamic Attack on Israel and the destiny of AMERICA. As Jesus said in Revelation,

Behold, I (Jesus) AM COMING SOON! (Revelation 22:7, NIV)

The Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ (Revelation 22:17, NIV)

He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I (Jesus) am coming soon.’ (Revelation 22:20, NIV)

I want to help you to see why and how, before it’s too late, that in spite of what the scoffers may say today, JESUS TRULY IS COMING BACK TO EARTH SOON. Will you be with Jesus or against him when he returns?

Chapter 1

The Noah and Lot Prophetic Principle Rescue Followed by Immediate Judgment

The Second Coming of Jesus will occur in two phases. In phase one (the Rapture) Jesus RETURNS ONLY INTO THE SKY to rescue watchful Christians from the nuclear judgment of WWIII. Then, about seven years later phase two will take place, where Jesus actually steps foot ON THE EARTH at the Battle of Armageddon. The Apostle Paul wrote of phase one, the Rapture, in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 where he said, Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep (die), or grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep (died) in him.

First Thessalonians 4 continues, "According to the Lord’s own word (Jesus explained this clearly to the disciples—Paul was just retelling this to them), we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord (at the Rapture), will certainly not precede (go up before) those who have fallen asleep (died). For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command (KJV Bible says shout), with the voice of the archangel (Michael) and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up (this is the Greek word harpazo or harpadzo and the Latin word rapere, from which the English word rapture is derived—this means to SEIZE or TAKE UP BY FORCE) together with them IN THE CLOUDS to meet the Lord in the air. And so will we be with Lord forever. Therefore encourage each other with these words" (1 Thessalonians 4:13–18, NIV).

Then, Paul goes on, in 1 Thessalonians 5, to explain the timing of WWIII, the Rapture and the Day of the Lord. Paul also shows WHO will be surprised when these things happen—contrary to what you may have been taught, IT’S NOT EVERYONE! Paul said, Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the Day of the Lord (a 1,007-year time period, which begins just after WWIII, with the seven-year tribulation period, and goes through the one-thousand-year kingdom reign of Jesus. We will study this thoroughly in chapter 2 in this book.) will come (begin) like a thief in the night (as a surprise upon UNWATCHFUL PEOPLE—including unwatchful Christians!). While people are SAYING, ‘Peace and Safety (during a time of peace TALKS—most likely Mid-east talks since much of prophecy deals with Israel),’ destruction (WWIII) will come on THEM (the unwatchful) suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and THEY (the unwatchful) will not escape (1 Thessalonians 5:1–3, NIV).

It’s unwatchful Christians and unbelievers who will be surprised when these end-time events take place—NOT EVERYONE, AS SOME TRY TO SAY. Watchful Christians will be aware that WWIII, the Rapture, and the Day of the Lord are approaching. The timing of these things WILL NOT BE A SURPRISE TO THEM. How will watchful Christians know this? Some have said to me, I was told that no one could know about the timing of Jesus’s return at the Rapture and that this would be a surprise event. Well, whoever told you that, didn’t show you the entire context of the scriptures. They basically didn’t know what they were talking about. Jesus said over and over that we could know WHEN his coming was near BY WATCHING FOR THE SIGNS.

You will see Jesus words of warning about this over and over in this book. Jesus warned watchful Christians TO NOT BE SURPRISED BY THE TIMING OF THE RAPTURE. Will you listen to Jesus and his prophets or to that teacher, who, as I said, most-likely didn’t know what he or she was talking about?

I will go back to the original Greek and Hebrew many times in this book to see the original intent of Jesus and the prophets. In many cases, it’s very eye-opening and clears up a lot of misconceptions.

Paul shows clearly WHO SHOULD NOT BE SURPRISED BY THE EVENTS OF THE END TIMES in the VERY NEXT verses of 1 Thessalonians 5:4–6 and 9–11 (NIV). He said, "But YOU, brothers (watchful Christians) ARE NOT in darkness so that this day (the end time events, including the Rapture, surrounding the Day of the Lord) should surprise you (watchful Christians) like a thief. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do NOT belong to the night or to the darkness. So then let us NOT be like others who are asleep (unbelievers and unwatchful Christians), but let us be alert and self-controlled… For God did NOT appoint us to suffer wrath (in WWIII and then, the seven-year tribulation period, which will follow WWIII) but to receive salvation (this word salvation is the Greek word sōtēria, which means rescue—as in the Rapture) through our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us so that, whether we are awake (alive) or asleep (dead-when he comes for us at the Rapture), we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

Encourage, encourage because watchful Christians are NOT GOING THROUGH THE SEVEN-YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD. As we see signs of the approach of WWIII and the beginning portion of the Day of the Lord, the seven-year tribulation period, we also see signs of the approach of the Rapture. The Rapture is tied intrinsically into the sudden destruction of the WWIII nuclear event, which Paul spoke of in 1 Thessalonians 5:1–3 and which many other Bible prophets spoke about—as you will see in this book. Simply put, when you see signs that WWIII is approaching, you also see signs that the Rapture is approaching! It’s really that simple. Get ready folks, because WWIII is approaching.

Watchful Christians should be encouraged in these days, because, as Paul said, the Rapture is in fact a rescue (Greek, soteria). It’s a removal of watchful believers from OFF OF the earth PRIOR TO the sudden destruction of the WWIII nuclear judgment. Instead of Beam me up Scotty as in Star Trek, it will be BEAM ME UP JESUS. Watchful Christians will exit this world quickly, in the twinkling of an eye, to meet Jesus IN THE CLOUDS, as nuclear WWIII explodes down on earth! This should truly be encouraging, not scary, to watchful Christians. I will dive more into these verses of 1 Thessalonians in a later chapters.

First Corinthians speaks of the mystery aspect of the Rapture. A mystery in the Bible is something that hasn’t happened before in Biblical history. Some people have a hard time believing that the Rapture will happen, because it’s something that they have never seen before. It seems so unbelievable. Yes, so unbelievable, but it’s about to be absolutely true. First Corinthians says, Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep (die), but we will all (those believers who are watching and ready) be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality (1 Corinthians 15:51–53, NIV).

The twinkling of an eye is said to be 10/100th of a second—it’s fast, very fast. Jesus will have to act fast to rescue his watchful followers, as WWIII ramps up quickly into a nuclear war—and he will. Unwatchful naysayers and scoffers, whether Christian or not, will be left on earth to go through seven years of terror—most will not survive it. This seven-year time of terror is what we call the seven-year tribulation period, which will begin just after WWIII with the signing of a seven-year covenant written about in Daniel 9:27. Much more on this as we get further into this book.

For phase 2 of Jesus’s Second Coming, fast-forward about seven years after the Rapture and WWIII, to the end of the seven-year tribulation period. Those same Raptured Christians, along with the believers of all the ages, will return WITH Jesus at the Battle of Armageddon. Jesus and his great army of believers will all be riding powerful white horses as they come down to earth, step foot on earth, and take physical control of planet earth from Satan, the Antichrist, and their army of evil men. After that, Jesus will set up his one-thousand-year reign of peace from Jerusalem, Israel. This is also called the millennium. Finally, peace will reign across all of the earth, as Jesus will be king over all the earth. World events are showing that Jesus is coming very soon—will you be with him or against him? We are moving closer and closer to WWIII and the Rapture with each passing day.

Jesus said in Matthew 24:36 (NIV), No one knows about that day and hour, even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. This verse has been used over and over to attempt to silence anyone looking into the timing of Jesus’s return. The word knows in this verse is the Greek word eido. As I’ve said, understanding the meaning of the original Greek and Hebrew used in the Bible can clear up many misconceptions of what the Bible is actually saying. This is a very good case of that. The Greek word "eido used for the word knows" in Matthew 24:36, means to know everything the way that God knows everything, to understand without having to watch or learn about something—to know intuitively. Certainly, only God himself knows everything intuitively without having to learn about it. So Matthew 24:36 is SIMPLY A PURE STATEMENT OF FACT AT THAT MOMENT IN TIME. That is the correct way to understand this verse in context.

By the way, I said at that moment in time, because when Jesus spoke these words in Matthew 24:36, he was in his human body on earth and NOT in his glorified body. As a human on earth, God the Father withheld from him the knowledge of the exact moment of the Rapture in time and space. Although, when he lived on earth, Jesus knew enough about the timing of end-time events to give his disciples all the signs and information that he gave them, up to and including, the GENERATION HE WOULD RETURN WITHIN. Now that Jesus is back in heaven in his glorified body, making up one-third of the three-in-one Almighty God—HE DOES KNOW EVERYTHING—NOW, including the timing of the Rapture. If you think otherwise, then you must not believe that he is God! But he is!

There are so many verses that point to the requirement that watchful Christians NOT BE SURPRISED WHEN JESUS RETURNS AT THE RAPTURE. THIS NECESSARILY REQUIRES THAT WATCHFUL BELIEVERS HAVE SOME IDEA OF THE TIMING OF THE RAPTURE IN TIME AND SPACE. Otherwise, they WOULD be surprised, just like unwatchful Christians and unbelievers will be.

In the fig tree prophecy of Matthew 24, Luke 21, and Mark 13 Jesus shows us what we, as watchful human believers, can know for sure about the timing of his return. Jesus said in Matthew 24:32–34 (NIV), Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things (the signs he spoke about in preceding verses), you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.

In breaking these verses down, the fig tree represents the nation of Israel in Jesus’s Parable. Joel 1:6–7 (NKJV), says of this, For a nation has come up against my land (of Israel)… He has laid waste my vine and ruined my fig tree (Israel). This is actually a reference by Joel to the future Russian/Islamic attack on Israel. Hosea 9:10 (NKJV), says, I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your fathers as the first fruits on the FIG TREE in its first season. Jesus used this known Biblical connection of Israel being compared to a fig tree in his fig tree prophecy.

Also, Jesus used this association of Israel as the fig tree in Luke 21:29–31 (NIV), with a twist, where he said, Look at the fig tree (Israel) and all the trees (nations). Jesus compared trees to nations here and I believe he gave us another sign of the beginning of the final generation. Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948. Israel applied for UN membership one day later on May 15, 1948, and Israel joined all the trees of the United Nations in May 11, 1949. The UN itself was formed only three and a half years earlier on October 24, 1945, following WWII, to try to prevent international conflict. Speaking of the birth of the nation of Israel (the fig tree nation) as the starting point, Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. The final generation began on May 14, 1948, with Israel’s rebirth. It all begins with Israel, Israel, ISRAEL. Without the nation of Israel in existence, none of the end-times events could even take place. There had to be an Israel—FIRST.

Then, the question becomes what is the length of a generation? God showed me some exciting things about this, which I will share fully in my next book—WWIII Part Two. I want to use this first book to show you many, many OTHER signs that show that Jesus’s return is near. Then, when I show you, in my next book, the things God showed me about the timing of the final generation, you’ll say, Oh yes, that makes sense!

In the fig tree prophecy of Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 Jesus said that when you see the signs of his return you could "know that it is near, right at the door (Matthew 24:33, NIV, and Mark13:29, NIV). Luke 21:31 (NIV), shows us what it is, from Matthew 24 and Mark 13. Where, in Luke 21:31 (NIV), Jesus says, Even so, when you see these things happening (the end-time signs Jesus just spoke about in preceding verses), YOU KNOW THAT THE (one-thousand-year) KINGDOM (reign) OF GOD (Jesus—on earth) IS NEAR (and thus all of the other end-time events which would come just before it)."

This know in Matthew 24:33, Mark 13:29, and Luke 21:31 is the Greek word ginosko. Ginosko means to know something absolutely by watching, learning or observing. Hmmm. How many times did Jesus tell believers to be watchful for his return? Over and over and over again. I counted thirteen times in the New Testament that he commanded his people to watch, watch, watch for signs of his return. I guess we just found out why! Jesus wouldn’t say that we could know (ginosko) when his return was about to happen unless he meant it. Friends, Jesus means what he says. He said that by watching the signs (world events) which would precede his return, watchful Christians could KNOW for sure (Greek, ginosko) WHEN (the generation) he was going to come back within to set up his one-thousand-year, millennial kingdom of peace on earth.

This is shown in the very next verse, Matthew 24:34 (NIV), where Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth (double-emphasizing what he is about to tell you), THIS GENERATION (that sees the fig tree Israel become a nation) WILL CERTAINLY (triple-emphasis)
