He Calls Her Sierra

About this ebook
From conception, the dark forces have seen God's illuminating light shining bright in Sierra, marking her as a target to the enemy. The devil knew there was a great and mighty call on her life. Before birth and even at birth, time after time, Sierra escaped the grave from the continual assassination attempts to her life, to eliminate her from the purpose for which she was created. Sierra met and received Jesus at a young age, and God remained faithful to His promises. The Lord protected her while she grew up in a self-destructive environment, surrounded by violence and physical and verbal abuse and sexual molestation. Finding out she wasn't wanted at birth from her mother at a young age, Sierra secretly became her identity. Her birth father didn't play an active role in her life, resulting in feelings of abandonment and being unwanted by both her parents. As a teenager, Sierra survived a tragic car accident, foreseen as a warning through a prophetic dream. Survival is all Sierra knew, but she would turn to drugs and alcohol to numb the pain from life's hurt. She became sexually active at a young age, thinking she would feel loved, constantly feeling a spiritual tug of war, from dark to light. After a miscarriage, divorce, the birth of her son, a heartbreaking abortion, and selfless surrogacy""hope followed in another dream, seeing the gift of a daughter. Years later, the Lord showed her a man He had chosen for her to be her husband who would love her unconditionally, regardless of her past. They both encountered love at first sight for the first time. Sierra surrendered her life to Jesus, guiding the rest of her family to salvation. She will use her life's trials to glorify her Father in heaven.

He Calls Her Sierra - Jimilyn McKeehan
Chapter 1
He calls her Sierra, and her life’s verse is Jeremiah 29:11: ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future’
(NIV). As He carefully created Sierra in His Hands, He placed the gifts of faith and strength inside her, and she became His beloved masterpiece.
Sierra’s light shone in heaven in the presence of her Almighty Creator. His plan for her life is for a future to do His will and the works for His kingdom. Although she would not receive the name the Lord gave her at birth, eternally, she would always be His Sierra.
When her mother married her biological father while pregnant and then giving birth to a baby that was not his just a few month later, he was not aware the baby was by a different man. As a pregnant teen, marrying him was her way out of the children’s home she grew up in. The home planned to take her baby away after birth; her mother’s marriage was that of desperation. Ultimately, she would carry the secret to her grave.
Years later, while her mother was estranged from her husband, they met another time; and that was then the conception of his first biological child, Sierra. We learn in Psalm 139:13, For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb
(NIV). Unknowingly, her life would be in danger from the moment of human conception. Not wanting any more children she could not afford to take care of, a second child having a different bloodline than her toddler child was on the way. At nineteen years old, fear and panic started to set in. She could barely financially afford to care for the one she already had. Knowing she had options and only wanting one child, giving the baby up for adoption or to an orphanage was not an option.
The thought of the child going through the same upbringing she had experienced or the guilt of knowing her baby was out there being cared for by someone else other than her was unbearable. Her mother contemplated an abortion, as in that time it was legal. Enduring the conviction on her heart, she wanted to abort the baby, but her religious beliefs would not let her make the decision. John 10:10 says, The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
The enemy has seen Sierra’s light and prowled to snuff it out. His plan was to convince her mother to abort and kill the gift given to her, with the purpose of God on the inside.
Chapter 2
On April 15, 1977, was the second attempt the enemy would take on her life. In the early morning while being rushed to the hospital without Sierra’s dad present and to welcome her entry into the world was just the beginning of the abandonment she would endure from him her entire life. Labor was hard on her mother and strenuous on baby Sierra. This caused immediate stretchmarks to her mother’s body, and with barely any oxygen in the womb for survival, she was being brutally strangled with the umbilical cord.
The doctor and medical team were not aware of the confined, raging battle she was fighting. Her mother pushed one final time, causing rips and tears to her body. The struggle continued on the delivery table. The baby did not come out as a seasoned doctor and mother had hoped. The baby was entirely blue, with bulging veins covering her scalp. The doctor knew it would not be necessary to smack the hind end of the newborn to clear the throat to make the baby cry, the baby could not breathe. Not knowing how long the baby had been in distress, the doctor was now against time
