Individual Reflections—How to Begin
Find a spot where you will not be disturbed. Outside is good for some if the noise around is minimal and your presence will not be intrusive/inviting to others. Inside is good for some if a place of peace can be found where no one will disturb you, and all equipment and devices can be completely turned off. That includes devices receiving spoken commands and phones, dryers, etc. All screens are black for the time. (Hang a do not disturb
sock on the door.)
Set a timer for twenty minutes to thirty minutes so no temptation to check clocks will exist. This eliminates wondering and promotes attention to the exercise
