About this ebook

Amid everything that has and is taking place, I began to hear the message, "I called." I kept hearing these words in my spirit, and I knew I had to begin to write it. I knew God was speaking to the nation. He is calling some to salvation and all to repentance and a closer walk with him. There's no doubt or reservations on the fact that I have a message to all who hath an ear (spiritual or not) to hear what the Lord has inspired for me to share. It's time for truth to be told on every level. It's not just another book. It's a 2021 message.

Stephanie Smith

It seems an impossibility that so much could already be crammed into so short a life. Stephanie Smith, at the age of 23, has already graduated college with a music performance degree, landed a recording contract with Gotee records, released her first single, ministered to thousands of teenage girls through her involvement with Pure Freedom, and has kept both sanity and integrity throughout. Stephanie, when faced with the choice to either take on another wound or to practice forgiveness, chose the road less traveled. For this reason, God has blessed Stephanie with a national platform from which to speak with authority about walking in the freedom of forgiveness—particularly in regards to the “father wound” that so many people are nursing today.

    Introduction

I can recall some time back when a neighbor knocked on my door. I answered; she told me she needed some coins for laundry. My head dropped and my countenance changed because I realized I didn’t have the change she needed in my possession. She turned away with a sad look in her eyes as I told her I couldn’t help at that time. I felt so bad that I was unable to give someone help in their time of need.

I closed the door and began to look around, then I found a few coins. I began to rejoice because it gives me great pleasure to be of assistance to anyone. I thought, Now I can give these coins to her, so I went outside and entered her building and knocked on the door. I stood there for a while, but I got no reply. I thought maybe she’s busy or wasn’t there, so I said to myself that I would return later. I waited for some time, and then I returned to her home and knocked on the door. I could hear music playing and movement, so I knew someone was there. However, I got no answer. My heart grieved as I walked away.

I’m reminded of another situation when I knocked on a neighbor’s door to give them a gift that God had laid on my heart to do. We had met before, had brief conversation, and would always speak to one another in passing. I realized they were home because I saw them pull into their garage and go inside. I pulled the gift out and thought now was the perfect time to catch them at home. I rang the doorbell and knocked on the door but did not receive an answer. I could hear the dogs at the door and the footsteps inside, so I figured once they looked through the peephole, they will know it’s me. So I stood there for a minute as it got quiet, and I rang doorbell once again. Still no answer, so I left.

I returned home very troubled in my heart because I truly wanted them to have the gift. I thought to myself, The world is truly changing. No one answers their doors, even if it’s a possible need, or possibly receive something. And we are neighbors. I thought, Well, if this is the new norm, not answering doors, I will think twice about knocking on anyone else’s door.

This situation is quite like the present season we have been in where God has been knocking on the door of our hearts, trying to give us something we all have need of. It’s more valuable than anything we could ever possess in this life.

Revelation 3:20 declares, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in with him and eat with him, and he with me.

Is it that we are too busy, so distracted, have our own agendas, and are listening to so many different voices in the world that we cannot hear or discern the most important voice there is? God has been trying to get our undivided attention for a very long time to give a gift and invitation to the most important event one could ever hear of and attend. The Lord says in Revelation 3:20, Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

In this book, God has spoken, and I will be sharing with you the things the Holy Spirit has spoken to me to share with you: Let he who has an ear, hear what the spirit is saying.

There is nothing that would have prepared many for what was about to take place. After the news reported severe cases of pneumonia on New Year’s Eve 2019 in the city of Wuhan, China, we learned of COVID-19 shortly thereafter. The first cases in North America were reported in the United States in January 2020. The world was going on as usual—business seemed to be flourishing, kids were in school, churches were still in business, and people were just doing what they normally do. Many were not on alert—neither spiritually nor naturally—that the world, as we have known, will never be the same. God has, in this hour, released a word through the mouths of his vessels. This is a 2021 message, as well as a warning inspired by God. There is a relevant word for anyone of any ethnicity, race, or status in life. This word is a call to put an end to division, racism, hatred, deception, unbelief, but is also a call to unity, respect, love, and repentance. The call is not from the writer but from the Almighty God himself. To all who will hear, please hear what thus saith the Lord.

    Chapter 1

    The Awakening (Romans 13:11)

The day was very unusual for me. I had not been away from the house in weeks. Truthfully, I had not been outside much at all. I am an individual diagnosed with mental health illness, and due to this, I often isolate myself and struggle with depression.

This day, I had an appointment. I was trying to think of any possible way to blow it off. I dread having to go to appointments, and usually, I am filled with anxiety and frustration.

As I headed to the appointment, I took notice of how busy everything appeared—people driving as if they are in such a hurry. Things just seemed very strange to me. I arrived at the appointment and checked in. At that time, I was the only person in the waiting room. I just sat there in anticipation because this would be a new doctor for me. I finally heard my name called, telling me to come in
