About this ebook
"There was so much to see with her newly formed eyes, but her attention was fixed on the glorious being in front of her. The light of His face illuminated the entire world around her, and for a moment that seemed like eternity, she saw and understood love." From Creation to the cross and on to the Lord's resurrection, Eve deals with her penalty and looks ahead through Biblical history to see in her dreams the "future" of her offspring as she lives out her life on earth after the fall. Eve, Wake Up is a look at the highlights of the Old Testament and the people whose lives represent the golden thread of God's plan through the ages, from the very beginning of time to the birth, death, and resurrection of the Savior of humanity, Jesus the Christ. Eve, Wake Up is a fictional account of original Eve drawn out of the author's imagination but founded on Biblical truth recorded in the Holy Word of God. The author continues to share her lifelong passion, for the deep and personal intimacy with God through the story of Eve. Eve, Wake Up - Connie D'Alessandro
Praise for "Eve, Wake Up"
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Journeying through the Bible with the eyes of Eve rejuvenated many of the Old Testament stories for me, and I believe each reader will be able to relate to Eve as a fellow sojourner in a new, unexpected way.
Regarding my own experience, when I first encountered Eve, Wake Up I was mourning the slow and painful loss of my maternal grandmother. What I discovered was a fresh hope for the adventure of life and a reminder that all believers, regardless of age or status, can know confidently that the best is yet to come!

This book is truly an incredible read. It gives a glimpse into God’s heart of unconditional love for each of us - a glimpse that will leave you changed forever. Connie D’Alessandro is a gifted writer. This book will not disappoint. She describes Eve’s desire after the fall, for a sacred romance with her Creator. It is an intrinsic desire of her heart, and ours, to be in a relationship with God. It is both intriguing and captivating. Reading it captures the golden thread of God’s plan for each of us to know God and be drawn to Him in a personal and intimate way. I found this book to be interesting and compelling.

"Connie D’Alessandro’s book, Eve, Wake Up, gives an imaginative view of the life of the world’s First Lady.
From the moment God breathed life into her lungs to her last dream of the Creator’s resurrection, Eve’s life is retold in such a relatable way that you feel her joy and pain. My heart swelled with such love when Eve gave birth to her first born, and broke at the loss of her second born son. Readers everywhere will reminisce while reading Eve’s vivid dreams of future generations, connecting them to the Bible stories heard in church, and bringing not only the events to life, but the characters as well. If you’ve ever wondered why Eve would eat that forbidden fruit when she knew full well the consequences that would follow, then you should read Eve, Wake Up."

This book is dedicated to my beloved daughters, Lisa, Suzy, Aimee, and Staci who have helped me see so much of Eve’s original heart and beauty through their love relationship with Jesus and my sons. And to all my precious sisters near and far who share in the sacred romance with our Lord.
Introduction
The purpose of this book is not to compete with the sacred writing of God’s Word but to convey in oral tradition and creative expression, the Truth about our Creator. The Bible contains the exact and explicit information the Holy Spirit wants us to glean from, in finding our personal life in Him, but each person mentioned lived a life and the many details of their lives have been omitted by divine editing.
This story of Eve is drawn out of the author’s imagination about what may have been the details of her life, but with the hope that the reader will be captivated enough to dive into the Bible to find the One who calls each of us into the sacred romance with Himself.
The Garden
Eve . . . Eve . . . wake up . . .
The woman was lulled out of her sleep state by the sound of a distant voice calling her name. The voice was so pleasant, yet commanding, like the sound of rushing waters. All she could remember was the feeling of gentle lips touching hers, then the first deep breath like a warm wind filling her lungs and the sensation of tingling feelings cascading all over her body. Her slender fingers traced the delicate shape of her own jaw and found their way to her eyes. There were little traces of a gritty substance that she brushed away from her long lashes as her eyes opened for the very first time.
She took another deep breath, unsure of whom she would see—the One whose voice was so captivating. Her eyes were trying to open in response to the voice and she longed to look at who was calling her name.
There was so much to see with her newly formed eyes, but her attention was fixed on the glorious being in front of her. The light of His face illuminated the entire world around her, and for a moment that seemed like eternity, she saw and understood love.
As her eyes were trying to adjust to the brilliant light of His being, the symphony of the rest of His created world filled her ears with harmonious and beautiful sound. It seemed that she was enveloped by sights and now sounds that made her heart sing.
Her innocent mind came to life as she looked around in awe of the environment, everything perfectly and majestically positioned. In a kaleidoscope of colors, the garden was radiant, and she was overwhelmed by the beauty of everything she saw.
The visuals of this place were a delight, but nothing compared to the splendor of Him.
The moisture of the garden was a comfort and the smell of the earth made her feel like she was a part of all that surrounded her. Thoughts came rapidly like torrents to her untested mind. She could feel her own heartbeat and it seemed to accelerate the closer she moved toward Him.
She thought, What was that sound coming up and out of the ground where my feet etched a place in the soil of the earth?
Worship,
He said to her unspoken question.
His voice was so pleasant to her ears and she knew instinctively that this worship
was something that made Him happy. Worship was what she wanted to give Him, so she willingly joined in.
The melody that came from deep within her soul leapt off her lips and blended in harmony with the other unique songs that all things created released into the atmosphere in the presence of this glorious one.
He moved closer to her and she could feel herself tremble under His loving gaze. Something in this moment conveyed a sense of her value to Him above all the things that surrounded her.
She needed for her own sake to put a name to this great one, so she called Him Creator
since He was the first thing her eyes focused on when she became aware that she was alive.
Eve.
Her name was full of meaning that she could scarcely begin to fathom, and she was likewise filled with curiosity about her Creator and this place she found to be her dwelling.
We have created you in our image. And there is someone else we want you to meet, but for now, there is much we want to share with you.
This was the first moment she realized that the One she called Creator was not just One but actually Three-in-One. Theirs was a deep, abiding fellowship that she was now a part of.
Her mind was overflowing with wondrous thoughts, yet the more she heard and saw as she walked with her Creator, the more she did delight in the simple companionship of His love. Her thoughts formed questions and answers came even before she could ask out loud.
As they walked together to survey her garden home, she noticed His physical appearance was not unlike her own. But even as she walked hand-in-hand with Him, there was the presence of the Spirit, without form, who was a constant companion surrounding them. At that same moment, she also became aware of the One holding all things created together. She was in a universe of time and space designed for her by a loving being who seemed to want her in a personal relationship that could only be called sacred.
The wonder of it all! Since the moment she heard His voice call her out of the depths of the earth that formed the garden, her awareness of Him and this place had grown to incredible heights, beyond her limited imagination.
With so much to experience, so much to learn about them, so much to share, and so much to delight in, her sense of time got lost in this eternal moment. She was spellbound by the animals, the vegetation, and the breathtaking beauty of the rivers, yet, for all that was so pleasing to her senses, she felt that there was something missing. She fought the urge to speak of it, but there was aloneness and a sense of something more that she, in this beautiful garden, needed.
Even as she was experiencing the love of her Creator and exclusivity in His love . . . her conscious mind seemed to grow to include thoughts of a relationship with others like herself. What is this emotion that melds with her thoughts? What is the reason for what is somewhat unexplainable to her inquiring mind?
She came to a feeling called desire. She had the deepest desire
to share the wonder of this place and her humanity with others. She hears His laughter and knows that He is not offended by her thoughts. It even seems that she gets such desire and thoughts from Him. Oh, the joy that being in unity with Him brings her. And He did say, There is someone we want you to meet.
For all that she came to know and became aware of outside herself, she was innocently unconscious of her own exquisite beauty among all the other created things in this newly discovered universe. So magnificent was this created world she opened her eyes in, thoughts of her own beauty did not occur to her until the moment she was introduced to the one the Creator told her about. His name was Adam.
Their introduction was interesting to say the least. The Creator arranged for it and it was good. The man had been sleeping in another area of the garden and the sweet familiarity of the earth emanated off his skin. He was stunningly handsome, and that feeling she now recognized as desire was beginning to overwhelm her. Her connection to him was so deep as if she was a part of him, and then there was his salutation when they first met: "This is now bone of my
