From lack of understanding of the genetic aspect of the skin color of human race, there have been sporadic outbursts of racial unrest and racially motivated killing of black people. With a depth of knowledge in science and theology, the author explains the following:

Human skin color is genetically determined, and all people on earth have the same number of genes.

We must destroy the dividing wall of hostility based on color.

People in the tropical regions have dark skin, and people in cold regions have light skin.

Origins of caste and race are man-made while skin color is divinely designed to protect people in tropical regions.

Hot, humid, arid, or cold climate influence genes for dark or light skin color.

There is biology, theology, and genetics of human skin color.

It is by God’s design that people of all ethnicities have gathered in the United States (Ezekiel 36:24).

America is the Second Israel for all believers.

The human race is unique, having originated of one blood.

We must follow the example of Christ to overcome bias against color and ethnicity.

Ask ourselves, in a culture when truth is relative and justice denied, “Is His Truth marching on in our nation?”

Protect democracy from the threat of fascists and white supremacists.

The scourge of SARS-Cov-2 can be healed by God only and the nation must heed to the Almighty.

As a scientist and a lay theologian, Dr. Cherian analyzes the present world culture and confirms the Biblical prophecies that we are at the threshold of “religion without the Holy Spirit, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and heaven without hell.”

Systemic racist virus has, in recent years, become a sporadic reality as it resurges from its dormancy, like the chickenpox virus emerging as the shingles causing excruciating pain to those who have had chickenpox several years earlier. Racial inequality is experienced by many in every facet of life for people of color and different ethnic backgrounds. Like every known virus that causes contagious diseases, including the present pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus, we would overcome them, although COVID-19 has been marching and killed over 450,000 people in the United States because of the neglect and insufficient way the pandemic has been handled by the previous administration. Failed leadership, a distrust of scientists, complacency, and cultural attitudes have contributed to America’s horrific pandemic response that resulted in the death of hundreds of thousands of lives. It’s clear from the daily reports that the United States of America is failing to account for the social ills that had accumulated in the country over the past few years, rendering it unprepared to deal with pandemics, internal and external threats, violence, racism, and injustice. No virus that causes a pandemic would simply disappear, but we must have courage to combat the invisible enemy with all resources and strength we have, the will, and the moral conscience to safeguard the lives of every individual of the nation.

Be that as it may, we will control the COVID-19 pandemic, though it will take sadly many more lives because our dedicated team of scientists, pharmaceuticals, and the new administration are working diligently to produce millions of doses of vaccine that would be available on the time of science but not on the time of politicians rushing for political gain at the cost of human lives. But here, I would like to address the social virus of racism that appears difficult to mitigate unless we see transformation of the human mindset over the color of our skin. For the past quarter of a century, racism has been creeping into society and several incidents of brutality and killing of innocent black people have occurred on the streets of America’s cities in daylight and twilight. In United States of America, where the majority of population, nearly 80 percent claim to be Christians, this is an ungodly act because for those who believe in the Judeo-Christian God, God’s Word is very clear that all men are created equal and every single person, black, white, brown, in every part of the earth, is a child of God with no less or more of the image of God who created us in His image. God’s image is not in color of the skin but in sharing His divine attributes of love, compassion, holiness, and grace, which facts confer us distinction. However, there is a vaccine no earthly pharmaceuticals are able to develop but only from the pharmacopeia of heaven, identified and distilled under the guidance of heaven from where the cocktail vaccine of faith, hope, and love if taken willfully will boost our heavenly virtues of prudence, justice, temperance, and fortitude to act in a godly manner to deal with our domestic issues and social evils. What is missing in our dialogue on domestic and social issues are truth, honesty and fear of God, the absence of which cause social evils because of partisan bickering, polarization, and party ideology taking preeminence over the country and
