About this ebook

What I've done is to create a fresh and unique series based on real people sharing their intimate sexual experiences during their youth and how it has affected their sexual life today.

This series of stories can expand society's consciousness by providing material people can use to examine their own understanding and beliefs regarding differences in sexual backgrounds, tastes, and levels of interest in sex that may be unlike their own. It can benefit our fast changing world where gay, lesbian, transgender, bi-sexual and even straight people want open communication, eliminate shame, and to experience having pleasurable sex.

I used each day of the week for the interviewee's name. These stories range from teenage puberty to adulthood, to dating, marriage, divorce and being single again. For your readers who have experienced sexual trauma, these articles may inspire them to seek help and know they are not alone. In addition, for people who feel shameful because they think their sex life isn't normal, they may discover this isn't the case and they aren't alone.

Sex is a Journey - Douglas Ochu

    Introduction

What made me want to write about the subject of female sexuality and to do these interviews? My inner guidance directed me to assist women in exploring their sexual history in order to show how universal their experiences are.

I was walking by a grocery store’s checkout line when I saw the usual magazines. Cosmopolitan always catches my eye with the articles about new sex techniques or bold exciting things to try sexually to rekindle your love life. I got this idea the magazine never had articles of real mature women talking about their thoughts and opinions on the full range of the topic of sex. To tell their experience of growing-up female.

Women who read these stories may find that it helps make them aware of situations that might put them at risk of sexual assault. I was upset that most of the women interviewed had been molested.

The people I interviewed shared their sexual experiences and opinions with me. They all showed enduring strength and humor. I truly believe that the people who read this book will come away with complete knowledge. I hope it touches you and possibility helps with necessary hearing.

One of the reasons I wanted to write this book is from watching the film Kinsey a look at the life of Alfred Kinsey who, in 1948, reported studies in human sexual behavior. The series on television called Masters of Sex, the studies on sex by Bill Masters and Virginia Johnson started in 1945. These people were pioneers in the study of sex which changed people’s perception of sex.

I wanted to learn about female sexuality and what the female experience is. Being a male, my female side came out wanting to experience what women desire sexually. I was always fascinated with women; their voice; the differences in the body. I just enjoy women and, of course, the sexuality they bring. The special connection you have with your lover when you make love to them. The passionate kisses and tender touches. The soft moans and the aftermath.

I chose the women to be named after the days of the week so the reader would read only one chapter on the day the lady is named. On Monday you would read Monday’s chapter and savor it, and be looking forward to the next day’s story. I wanted the reader to take it all in and digest it fully. No cheating by looking at the next story.

My intention was to be informative, eye-opening and conversational. I hope you enjoy these stories.

    Subject: Sex Is a Journey

I am offering this book to you as an opportunity to benefit from this new approach to a subject that is always a big seller in books and magazine articles, so I have interviewed some interesting people. I have set this up in a unique way. Each story is to be read on the day of the person telling their story. The people purchasing this book will benefit from reading the stories and be looking forward to reading the next story to find out what the next story will tell them. The stories explore sexuality, mostly female stories, but I have also added a male perspective. These stories bring back memories that the reader might have experienced and laugh at other incidents.

I have not seen this subject expressed in this type of format. Some writers will put in their book new sex techniques to try in the bedroom or how to satisfy your lover and bring new excitement into your love life. These type of articles has not been published to my knowledge in this type format. I know these stories will touch the readers as they have touched me. The popular television series Masters of Sex and the movie about the Kinsey Report has helped me want to write these stories. I believe you will find the stories interesting and will be a popular series with the right publicity.

Your readers will relate to these stories and the women who lived them. Some of the incidents might have happened to them and this might prevent bad things happening to their children.

I will let the stories speak for themselves.

I have interviewed six women and one man so far. I wanted at least one male perspective. The interviews focused mostly on sexuality from teenage puberty to adulthood from dating to marriage, to divorce and being single again.

I would like to send you Monday’s story. Monday was married young and had children at a young age. She was married for a long time and recently went through a divorce. She has overcame a lot of obstacles. She is an interesting woman and your readers will benefit and enjoy reading her story.

    Purchasing my book will:

Benefit your readers with stories from a diversified group of women.

Your readers might have similar experiences that these stories tell.

The stories will educate and hopefully prevent some of the incidents happening to their children.

Women that have experienced abuse might seek some type of therapy and that they are not alone.

All women are bonded together by being female. You have all gone through puberty the teenage years, young adulthood, marriage, some raising children, and some divorcing. You starting over again looking for love.

    Thank you.

    Monday’s Story

    A Story of Female Sexuality

Monday’s story is her journey going through puberty, to facing sexual pressure from high school boys, to discovering her own sexuality, marriage, and having kids. She went through a divorce, and now she’s experiencing the dating scene. She shares her sexual journey with honesty, laughter, and tears.

Monday’s story has a number of experiences which many women can relate to. Women can relate that it happened to them as well. I wanted to bring her life experience out of the darkness and into the light. Monday is your average mother and wife with dreams, goals, and hopes for her children.

Monday is between thirty-five and forty-five years old. Her name and exact date of age was changed to protect her privacy. She has more than two children. She married young and had children at a young age. She has overcome many obstacles. I hope readers of this book will embrace her and be inspired to read her story, which is structured in a question-and-answer format.

Question: How old were you when you started puberty? When you began to develop?

"I was very young, probably twelve years old. I got my period when I was eleven. I was scared and thought I was dying. My little brother thought I was dying too because I was bleeding though my pants. I got my period at home and my mom was always open with me. She tried to explain it to me but then she ended up embarrassing me. She told my entire family and my grandparents that I had started my period and had become a woman. My mom got pregnant when she was fifteen years old. I made sure to explain this part of growing up to my daughters to ensure they didn’t see it as a nasty thing or be embarrassed if they had an accident. I developed much earlier than the other girls my age.

When I moved to a new school, the boys were saying, ‘Here is the new girl.’ I went to a football game with a boy. He put a blanket down and tried to stick his hand up my shirt. I told him, ‘I am not that kind of girl.’ I was quiet and shy at fifteen years old. A couple days later he lied and bragged that he had been with me sexually. Thirty years later, he contacted me on Facebook and apologized to me.

Question: Have you heard boys talking about bases? Have you heard about fifth base?

"Yes. First base was kissing, second base was up your shirt, third base was down your pants, and a home run was
