Introduction
Why are you writing this book?
I’m writing this book because everybody has a story. I would like to share this true, wonderful, challenging story with those that are married and those that are looking to be married; if you put God first, it will work, marriage is a beautiful commitment between a husband and wife. The world wants people to think everybody has divorced at least one time in their lives, and there is no such thing as till death do part, but I beg different. My mother and father stayed married until she died, to one man, and so will I. So journey with me in this awesome book and be blessed. When you read this book, if there is anything going in your marriage that shouldn’t be, let God heal you through these words of wisdom. God bless and follow me!
Chapter 1
I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, Marriage The Next Best Thing
In the book of Hebrews 13:4, the first part, the writer tells us that marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled.
The word undefiled means free from contamination and free from unlawful sexual activities.
In my own words, undefiled means free from guilt and shame.
The word marriage means to vow before God and man, to love each other to death do part.
It is a commitment between one man and one woman until death do part. In other words, you are saying,
I vow before God and man to love you and only you for the rest of my life; I vow before God and man to be your best friend at all times, through thick and thin; I vow before God and man to love you at all times, in the good and bad times; I vow before God and man, to do everything possible to make you happy for the rest of my life, to death do part.
