First, I thank God for His many blessings and for the love and sanctity of family. I thank my wife, Sandra, for being the mother of mothers
to our two children and for her patience as I discussed my ideas of Raven's adventure with her. My daughter, Diandra, who suggested and encouraged the writing of this book; also the mom
depicted in this book and the originator of the go and be great
phrase. Diandra says that to her children each morning before they leave for school. My son Danny II is the creator of the I'm the type person

Raven's leadership qualities and attitude mirror those demonstrated by Danny II among his childhood friends. My beautiful and brilliant grandchildren - Destiny, Julian, and Trinity - for their inspiration, feedback, and help in centering on my target audience. My sister Van Marshall, an author, for the support, encouragement, and feedback she provided in this endeavor.
Thank you, reader, for pausing long enough to allow Raven
