Women, we wear many titles in life that we have to uphold and fulfill. Yet that one title, Mother, we hold dear to our hearts because we were made to nurture the very children we were blessed to raise. However, the title Mother is one of the most difficult task to fulfill because we want to do it right. Do we always get it right though? Of course not. As mothers, we must know that it’s a journey and joy that will last for a lifetime. My book will give you insight on my road as a mother, my difficult times, my joyful times, and my tragic moments. This book was written to empower and inspire mothers and mothers-to-be. We all might not be in the same shoes, but we all wear the same title. So, ladies, take a look inside my life and see where we may just have walked in the same shoes at some point. My hope is that after reading this book, you are left with more than a story, but left inspired.

This book is dedicated first to God, who allowed me to write it. Then my daughter, who gave me the boldness to even write this book about her even though it made her vulnerable to the world. Mommy loves you, baby girl. It’s also dedicated to all mothers around the world. Also to my mother, who decided not abort me because the doctors said she would die if she decided to continue the pregnancy, but her faith is why I am here today. Thanks, Mom, for having faith over fear. I love you. Last, to my father, whom I lost in January 2022. He always said I would make it to this point; I just needed to relax and just do it. INTRODUCTION

Motherhood is a beautiful thing that is truly a gift from God. It has a lot of lessons attached to it and a lot of blessings. Mothers are held at a high expectation when raising children, and that can be a challenge in itself. Mothers automatically have to be strong, willing, and make sacrifices and decisions from the time they become pregnant. I therefore salute mothers all over the world no matter what they have endured or the decisions they have made, because being a mother is not easy. It’s an everyday challenge and sacrifice that makes women develop into something better or possibly not. In my book, I will be sharing with you my journey as a mother so far and experiences of some friends and family that will hopefully encourage, empower, and unveil some things for current and future mothers.
