then this book is for you. You'll find the very basic information you need to acquire a business license in the state of your choosing.
This guide book is just a guide, you should consult legal advice from a lawyer, this guide is not in any way legal advice.

THE BASICS
Starting a business in any state of the United States requires the same basic steps, although some states may have additional requirements.
You’ll have to check with the state you’re registering your business with for detailed requirements. This is not a step by step
Instruction manual, rather it’s a basic guide to save you money if you decide to start a business yourself.

EVERY STATE HAS THEIR own set of rules to start a business; Generally, you must
1. Choose and register a business name. Pay the required fee, all states charge a fee sometimes up to $250, check your state.
2. Obtain the necessary licenses and permits.
3. File for taxes, by obtaining a federal EIN number, some states require a state tax ID
4. Open a business bank account, you can’t do this without an EIN number.
5. Purchase insurance for the business, especially if you’re a contractor
6. Create a business plan.
7. Determine a business location and secure any needed leases or permits.
8. Hire employees, if needed.
9. Market your business.
If you choose to use an online service to register your business for you, you can pay up to $5000 in unnecessary fees.

A Registered Agent (also known as a Resident Agent or Statutory Agent) is a third-party individual or business entity designated to receive service of process notices,
official government notifications, and tax forms for a business. They must be physically located in the state where the business is registered,
and must be available during normal business hours to accept legal and tax documents on behalf of the business.
The Registered Agent is responsible for forwarding these documents to the appropriate person within the business.
