All I wanted was some lunch. My afternoon was free except for a late appointment at 4pm. I had plenty of time for a leisurely lunch and to maybe catch up on some back work. The cafe I went to catered to workers at the business park where my office was located.

The young hostess giggled at me. Probably because she was just out of high school.

The waitress flirted with me. I figured it was because she wanted a nice tip.

The woman at the next table was busy with her cell phone until she noticed me. Then I got a smile, some eye fucking, and then a conversation.

I was used to this sort of thing. Lots of women would come on to me. I’m not being an arrogant bastard when I say I’m handsome and I was used to women all but throwing themselves at me.

Claudia, the woman at the next table, was forward and wouldn’t take no for an answer.

What do you do for a living, Spencer?

I’m in financial services. I’m a financial advisor.

I shrugged. My afternoon is free.

Where’s your office? We should go there right now.

I had started off with a large company, hated it, and broke off as quickly as I could. I took a hit on income at first, but it was more than worth it in the long run. So I had a private office.
