About this ebook

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 3:3)

The 'death' spoken of in Genesis 3:3 was clearly not death as we know the word today. Adam and Eve went on to live for another 930 years and started the human race, so evidently, the death spoken of here was referring to Spiritual death, what most Christians like to refer to today as 'separation from God.' What Jesus did on the Cross far surpasses what any religion can do. It was devised from the beginning of time before the foundation of the earth, and played out in God's own time and fashion. Jesus had to die, in order to ratify this Blood Covenant between God and Man- it was not an accident, Jesus did not lose, the Word teaches us that 'None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.' 1Cor. 2:8  While most Christians grew up being told that 'Jesus Died For You-', and we see the Crucifix with the crucified Christ still hanging on it, however, very few of us really understand what that means, and how it is still relevant in today's world. This book looks at why Jesus had to die, what His birth, death, and Resurrection has to do with those of us living in today's world, and what you can do to benefit from your Faith in Christ."

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (Genesis 3:3)

The ‘death’ spoken of in Genesis 3:3 was clearly not death as we know the word today. Adam and Eve went on to live for another 930 years[1], and started the human race, so evidently the death spoken of here was referring to Spiritual death, what most Christians like to refer to today as ‘separation from God.’

As it is today, many people still don’t fully understand Spiritual death as being any different from physical death, so they end up walking through their whole life with a type of death hanging on to them, and everything they try to do. Yet, Spiritual death, and natural death are worlds apart. Natural death only ends our existence on this planet; Spiritual death plays out through eternity.

If you don’t believe in Life after Life, than this book is not for you. I wrote it to explore some of the timeless questions that most people ask themselves generation, after generation. Understanding this concept, the difference between natural death and Spiritual death, will make the difference between living a happy fulfilled life here on earth; and a type of living hell that is just getting by.

I would like to say from the start, that there are many people- from all Faiths- that I believe are going through life with the Blessings of God actively working in their behalf. In other words, you don’t have to be exclusively Christian to receive them. What I am saying is that these Blessings whether anyone acknowledges them or not, originate from the Christian belief that Jesus is the Son of God, Born before the Creation of the earth. There are certain principles that when applied, will bring the Blessing. This Blessing is like soil. It doesn’t matter what is planted in it, soil will make the seed grow when given the right conditions. You can plant corn for food, or poppies for heroine, the soil is going to do its job either way. It is this difference that I will attempt to shed light on in this book.

    In the Beginning...

It doesn’t seem likely that Adam and Eve had a full understanding of what this ‘death’ in Gen. 3:3 really was at that point in time.

Consider this; only a few verses later, God Himself declares a full host of curses that will now come upon them and their descendants, throughout the rest of time,

16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground
