About this ebook

SLICE-- Owen Brisbane has worked as a delivery driver at Martino's Pizzeria for the past year.  He enjoys his job and respects his boss. When Martin, owner of the small pizza shop in St. Clair Shores asks Owen to take one last delivery before going home, he obliges. Owen grows uneasy soon after arriving at the large home on Hempshire Avenue. His unease turns to terror as he discovers the sadistic nature of the couple he has just delivered to. Will Owen find a way out of the house on Hempshire before the deranged couple literally drain the life out of him? SLICE is an exciting, new page-turner from the twisted mind that brought you ICED CAPPUCCINO: A KAREN CHRONICLE.

ICED CAPPUCCINO-- Marcy's having a really bad day and all she wants is her Tim Horton's Iced Cappuccino made with chocolate milk. When she's greeted by an insane line at the drive-thru, she decides to go in to the cafe for her sugar-filled beverage, leaving disaster in her wake. ICED CAPPUCCINO is an engaging tale of a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

    Water Drop

The call came in at 9:58 p.m.

Martin Olivetti answered, Martin’s Pizzeria, may I help you?

Owen was in the back of the store folding pizza boxes when the call came in.

Mind making one last delivery? Martin asked, hanging up the phone.

Owen Brisbane wanted nothing less than to make one more delivery. They’d already been short-staffed on a night where their asses got pummeled for four hours straight. Not to mention that Rodrigo and the boys were waiting at home for him.

But not wanting to argue (or piss off the old man), Owen replied, I guess I have no other choice.

I know you’re ready to go...I really appreciate it. This is for a very special customer. And I’m sure you’ll get a decent tip outta her.

Owen asked, Where am I goin?

It’s near the water, right here in The Shores.

That’s on my way home. Ya mind if I cash the ticket out and head home right after?

Martin replied, You must be reading my mind. I was gonna suggest that myself.

Owen had to wait fifteen minutes for the two pies to get out of the oven. He called Rodrigo to give him the lowdown.

    Dingbat X

Rodrigo answered with zeal, "Que pasta, mi amor?!?"

Owen responded with not nearly as much zeal, Hey love bug...just callin to let ya know I have to make one more delivery. Then I’ll be home. Are the boys there?

The boys were Tyler and Xavier, two best friends who Rodrigo introduced Owen to when they met a year ago.

Have you guys eaten? Owen asked.

Rodrigo responded, Not a bite...I’m one hungry dog.

Want me to grab some coneys on the way home?

That’ll be cool, babe. I’ll take a couple of burgers.

    How many?

    Four.

    "Four??"

Yeah four, Rodrigo confirmed, "And a couple orders
