    The book is split into four distinct sections. Grant focuses on the individual ego in the first section. How do you, as a person, discover absolute happiness in reconsidering your beliefs, even when you're mistaken? He explains why that's challenging and why people are so devoted to their traditions and beliefs.

    It is simpler to put the rest of the book into practice if you have a good grasp of the first section. The second section addresses persuading a person with a closed mind. Grant offers us an alternative viewpoint on the practice of persuasion. It's not a battle or a game of tug-of-war where you have to win over allies. Instead, it is a creative dance that requires rhythm to make meaning. Nevertheless, it becomes simpler to perform the same magic on others if you've been able to overcome your inclination to cling to untrue beliefs.

    The third section explains how to cultivate the artistic ability of rethinking through time and how to create communities that value rethinking. After all, it doesn't serve any purpose to get off to a strong start before losing the momentum. The fourth section of the book contains Grant's
