About this ebook

THE ALCHEMICAL MAGIC EMERGES, WITHIN THE CONSCIOUS MERGER OF OPPOSITES
In any such merger, the primary elements are fire and water, applied through a process of friction and non-attachment. However, for the magical miraculous to emerge,
this must be done with conscious harmony, immersed in care and grounded on Truth.
The surreal existence of the hybrid-human being, is the product of this: As a physical, sentient, mindful, yet also psychic and spiritual entity, its reality seems improbable,
yet somehow, it magically is.
If adding to the enigma, that this being is of a finite and temporal form, with an acknowledged understanding of the existant reality of infinity, that exists within a timeless construct known as the Cosmos, the wondrous mystery takes the next level.
When then considering its collective organism called ‘civilization’, with all its joy, beauty, innovation and achievement, balanced against fear-based greed and destructive barbarism, then certainly,
none of it by rights should exist – and yet it does – and it gets better:
This microscopic human being, who exists for only a flash of Time, within the absurdly complex yet magnificent, endless and eternal Universe, can – within that single spark of Time – become aware of the whole:
the All and Everything!
By Merging the Inner and Outer World of Man we will find, that nothing is random and everything has purpose; the good and bad, the beautiful and ugly. It contemplates WHY this is so, which enables us to understand HOW to live, love and accept, every part – unconditionally.
This is important, as non-understanding leads to fear, anger, greed and a cyclic realm of non-existence.
The effects of the phenomena, as described in Book I & II, The Inner Evolution of Man, and The Outer World of Man, now enable us to enhance magic, and transcend out of the illusory, by Merging the Inner and Outer World of Man.

As the words in these writings, originated from many a discussion, study, observation, and contemplative thought, all of which ultimately originates from universal consciousness, they cannot be ‘owned’ by any man, just as a piece of earth that has been around since the beginning of time, cannot realistically be ‘owned’ by any one man either. The compilation of these words, thoughts, views, conclusions and ideas, call it what you will, may be considered to be as ‘unique’, but these too are based on the influence of preceding elements, which included the conscious intelligence of countless others, people and beings, and these can as such therefore, not realistically be ‘owned’ either. Gnosis is and remains the birthright of every man, woman and child, who has opted to choose consciously, and to enhance this and the self, through study, work and living a correct and fruitful life. There is therefore no copyright on the contents of this book. It is however stated that the ‘author’, as the custodian of it and its contents, authorizes the use of these words by others as they wish, provided it is not for profit or material gain.

    INTRODUCTION

From a myriad of conscious and intelligent cosmic influences, an almost infinite variety of Life was made manifest on the Earth. Following a period of maturation and learning, by means of fate, fortune or Divine Influence, consciousness was at last inserted into her most physically adapted life-form, that of man.

The phase of evolution was not complete though, and what began in a most rudimentary form about 40 000 years ago, started to accelerate at an exponentially increasing speed across the following millennia. At that time, eons had already passed, but now, within a few dozen millennia, the now conscious man began to evolve his intelligence. Using this intelligence, man was enabled to develop his intellect, learn to overcome his addictive and erratic sensory behaviour, and with an aligned and harnessed Sensory Center, was enabled to take charge over his barbarous animalistic physical nature.

Within this now stabilized form, his organism became like a vessel, in which the conscious, self-observant and contemplative man, would now be able to bridge the void of ignorance. To realize this more refined form, he was given the power of Choice.

Fuelled by the directed energy of an all-permeating Sex Center, he was enabled to build cities and empires, design rockets and great machines, with technology to tame Great Nature and touch the stars. But it would also empower him to grow inwards, into that infinite unknown space, of darkness within darkness, absent of all things and light, except perhaps one.

It is by the incidental discovery of this tiniest of lights, that the aware and enabled man may find it to be brighter than a million-billion suns, and yet being able to see it up close, he observes that its timeless rays penetrate everything.

The enabled and awakened man next realizes that by entering this light, he can become one with it, but knows now that only he can pass into it, alone and naked, and that he will need to abandon all that he has accumulated and become. He must leave and forget all his possessions and things, his body and his opinions of things, his precious knowledge and carefully preserved memory. He must leave this place as if he had never existed in it, readily acknowledge and accept that the very memory of him ever having walked the Earth, will dissipate like the perfected and unique snowflake, into nothingness.

His final conscious act will be to enter the Light and become one with that which is All. For this he knows, he cannot remain at-one with his existent self anymore, and ultimately the Pilgrim gives up that which he has sought to preserve through countless lives; his very soul.

Time is the ultimate enigma for man, and its connection with consciousness is seldom realized or understood. Ever since the ability to be conscious was bestowed upon him, it began to accelerate relentlessly; where this creates a frenzy to the ego-driven world, one that only drives it exponentially faster – in the intuitive-guided world, it is embraced and as a factor of life, it subsequently dissipates and ceases to be.

Where Book I, The Inner Evolution of Man, exposes the paradox that is man himself, Book II, The Outer World of Man sought an understanding of the world within which man lives, and which seeks to shape him. The marriage of these two seemingly utterly opposing worlds, is explored in this volume, Book III, Merging the Inner & Outer World of Man.

The purpose of this last book of The Way of the Pilgrim series, is to illuminate that there is nothing random in Creation. Only the illusory denies Truth; the ego, the lie, the self-ordained and the insatiable, who claim to seek that which is ‘perfect’, do not know that even this pursuit for perfection in itself is false, as in the end, he cannot find that which is already, always has been and ever will be.

    A WORD FROM THE EDITOR

A spiritual science, or a science of spirit, is something that is so clearly lacking in our human understanding of who and what we are.

The Way of the Pilgrim book series is an attempt to fill this gap – and one that succeeds magnificently in this regard.

As a prolific reader of all things spiritual and physical as pertaining to Life and the human realm, and as the editor of this series, it is my considered opinion that this work represents possibly the highest attainment in this respect, and can only be described as a superb and profoundly important undertaking – and one that couldn’t have come a moment too soon.

Indeed, with our world on the brink of potentially catastrophic and civilization altering events – from manufactured ‘pandemics’ to financial and economic collapse, to a possible Third World War – not to mention our environment – more and more people are being compelled to seek inwards for answers that our various philosophies and religions have failed to provide. For such seekers after Truth, this trilogy will prove to be as invaluable as it is enlightening.

What makes this even more important and relevant is its pragmatism with regard to the physical side of ourselves and our world, which is something that is largely ignored by contemporary spiritual and religious writings. In other words, the knowledge and lessons contained within these pages apply on an all-day, everyday physical, social and spiritual level – whether it be in the form of the various ‘energy centers’ of the human body, and their effects on our mind and self, or the power structures that control and direct our world, including how we perceive and understand ourselves and our supposed reality.

A few words of caution though…

These writings are not for anyone in seek of a ‘quick fix’ or ‘instant enlightenment’, of which there is no such thing when it comes to the human mind and spirit, as these are life-long quests and accomplishments – and which, according to some, entail not just one life, but many lifetimes of sincere and devout practise in order to achieve this.

They also cannot be read in a ‘rush’, and indeed require a quiet and meditative mind to fully imbibe the hidden or subtle meanings contained in almost every line.

That said, for anyone who does make the time to slowly read and contemplate these writings, to say that the benefits will be immense is an understatement. After all, what can be more important than developing an understanding of oneself and one’s place in the world – and in that way, being able to direct one’s life and focus to the betterment of not only oneself and one’s immediate family and circle of friends, but all those whose path one crosses, and whose lives are thereby affected.

    VISION

    There is only Truth

It matters not, whether one lives within

the many Lights of Jesus Christ the Saviour,

or the strength of Moses, Abraham and David.

    Whether one prefers,

the teachings of Krishna and His many Gods,

or the wisdom of Gautama the Buddha,

or if one is guided to follow,

    Allah and his beloved Prophet,

or one of the countless messengers.

Some may obey the Voice of Spirit from without,

    or the guru and teacher,

others the animal, plant or rock,

but all adhere to the guiding counsel,

    of the Spirit within,

the heart and soul of man.

The man and woman who follow the path,

that is sincere within, and true without,

to the Self, Others and Great Nature,

who recognizes the gift of Gaia,

that infinite wonder of Life, that nurses man,

    is the Pilgrim who perseveres,

    discovers, becomes and arises

    Enlightened.

    A NOTE TO THE READER

To convey information that has a multidimensional context, with its elements presented in differing levels of understanding, and that are both physical and metaphysical in their nature, is complex. It is even more so doing this using a written format, which is a one-dimensional form of transmission – with each word and each sentence having a beginning and an end. It is for this reason that these books are written in paragraphs, and where each paragraph aims at providing a multi-dimensional impression. Hence the reader may find a complex paragraph becoming clearer when it is read a second or even a third time, and an impression of its content is already present.

The approach to topics of depth and substance using the English language further complicates this process seeing that English, as taught in contemporary schools, is increasingly simplified, with the vocabulary shrinking year by year, and with the public interest in film-footage having overtaken the reading of books and poetry. It is for this reason that the reader may note that the structure of sentences and the use of commas will differ from section to section, for the sake of emphasis or elucidation. What exacerbates the problem of transferring forms of understanding, is when emphasis on the meaning of something specific is required, and one needs to use a combination of words, but which then alters the meaning of the words that are used. Take for example the ‘world of man’; this uses two physical elements to create a metaphysical concept, and in addition, it is not necessarily about the ‘world’ or ‘humankind’, but a conceptual or behavioural phenomenon. Hence within these writings, such words are often hyphenated into phrases such as the ‘world-of-man’ and ‘deep-state’. One will also note that at times hyphens were used for the sake of emphasis on certain parts of a word.

The reader may observe that in these writings, besides specific symbols that circumscribe each chapter’s content, that patterns and a certain mathematical formula are also present in the design, layout and divisions – this is not without purpose. Each chapter also has two numbers, the second higher number naturally referring to the fact that this book forms part of a series of three books in the greater assembly of ‘The Way of the Pilgrim’.

Last but not least, it must be noted that the masculine referral such as ‘man’, ‘him’ or ‘his’ throughout these writings, unless otherwise described, does not refer to gender but ‘humankind’ or ‘humanity’.

    MERGING

    THE INNER AND OUTER WORLD

    OF MAN

    FOREWORD

    THE DIVINE PARADOX OF BEING

It has by now become evident, that the Finite Universe is a construct, with as its component parts, an infinite variety of opposites. It is a ‘construct’ and cannot be otherwise, as it manifests itself as an illusion to all but the five physical senses of man, without which, to the unawakened man, it does not actually exist. It is a reality where nothing is, or can ever be, without the co-existence of that opposing force or thing, which by proxy, would seemingly cancel such reality’s existence.

The positivist may insist that the Finite Universe would continue to exist without ‘man’, and perhaps this is true, but it would not do so without an intelligence that is defined by these five senses, and amalgamated within a single conscious being. This is because such an aware and complex being forms an integral part of the purpose of the whole, just as the head sits atop of a body’s central nervous system. At present, within the order of complexity of the Construct, it is the cognitive and aware man who sits at its top.

The cognitive and aware man is himself therefore, a minute holographic or mirror image of this illusory Finite Universe, and as such an enigma of countless opposites. It is from within this enigma-of-man, that an ‘entity-being’ called Thought becomes manifest, and which by itself, like the Construct and like Man, is equally one with polar opposites. There is that Mechanical Thought which is a product of external and internal stimuli, both of which stimuli originate off physical elements, and which combined attain their place in the Ego-of-Man. And then there is its opposite, that which is referred to as Intuitive Thought, and which links into the timeless consciousness of the Grand Architect or Creator of the Construct.

The Ego serves its role in completing this Finite Construct, through its perpetual cycles of growth, decay and rebirth. It is within such ‘cycles’, which are meta-physical and possible within a single lifetime, that it creates a process of psychic heat and cleansing. As such it separates within the psyche of man, that which is referred to as ‘the fine from the gross’, and thereby creates a fertile platform for his higher growth. From this in turn, a phenomenon can emerge, that is free of Time and Space, and immersed as one within Creation’s Intuitive Consciousness.

The Futility, or Purpose, of Cognitive Awareness

All who are born, and who are able to experience a full and healthy life, being one that does not end prematurely, will at some point ask the same question:

    What is it all about?

    Between
