About this ebook

The Gang Of Gunslingers: Western

Western by Neal Chadwick

A turgid morality tale of America's pioneer days.

Two riders reined in their horses in front of the Marshal's Office in Deadwater. Their clothes were covered all over with dust from the sharp ride.
"Guess this is where we find the rat!" one of them said. His dark beard grew almost to below his eyes.
The other grinned dirtily. "Supposed to be a bad one, that Danny Wilbur!" he commented. As he did so, he flipped back his Saddle Coat, revealing the low-buckled revolver. He pulled the iron out briefly, checked the charge, then slid it back into the leather.
"We should get this over with!" the bearded man growled.
"From what I hear, Wilbur here is assistant marshal!"
"Don't get your knickers in a twist. After all, we want to earn the bounty that's on that star bearer..."

Two riders reined in their horses in front of the Marshal's Office in Deadwater. Their clothes were covered all over with dust from the sharp ride.

Guess this is where we find the rat! said one of them. The dark beard grew almost up to his eyes.

The other one grinned dirty. That Danny Wilbur is supposed to be a bad one, he said. As he did so, he flipped back his Saddle Coat, revealing the low-buckled revolver. He pulled the iron out briefly, checked the charge, and then let it slide back into the leather.

We should get this over with! the bearded man growled.

From what I hear, Wilbur here is an assistant marshal!

Don't get your knickers in a twist. After all, we want to earn the bounty on this star bearer...

The two got out of the saddles and tied the horses to the crossbar. When the door to the marshal's office opened, they froze.

A small, rather gaunt man in his sixties stepped outside. He wore no weapon around his hips. But on his vest a star flashed in the light of the low sun.

The old man blinked at the two gunslingers, eyed them. The bearded one wore a belt with two holsters.

One low on his side, the other on the front left with the revolver handle forward, so he had to draw both weapons with his right. So he was not one of the rare revolver shooters who was able to draw the iron with both hands and then also hit it.

Hello, Gents, the old man greeted them. Would you like to join me?

If you're Danny Wilbur, then yes! the man in the Saddle Coat opined.

Danny Wilbur put on a jovial smile. That's me. What can I help you with? Have you had any trouble in our town?

The bearded man bared his teeth. Not yet.

Wilbur raised his eyebrows. He looked a little taken aback. And you're sure you really want to see me - and not Marshal Glenn Morgan?

    The two nodded.

We're really quite sure of that, Wilbur... the man in the Saddle Coat opined.

The bearded man pointed in the direction of Wilbur's hips. You're not wearing any iron at all...

I use to shoot with a shotgun! opined Wilbur.

    The two Gunslingers laughed uproariously.

Hard to believe! the bearded man chuckled. Of course, with a shotgun like that, it's hard to miss.

However, you're also not necessarily guaranteed to meet only your enemies, added the man in the Saddle Coat.

Danny Wilbur was now suspicious for the first time. He squinted his eyes into narrow slits. I'm beginning to wonder what you want from me...

The guy in the Saddle Coat jerked out his Colt in response.

But his accomplice grabbed him by the arm.

Not like that, he agreed. I don't fancy having the marshal on my trail when we've finished off this old dwarf here...

Old runt? grumbled Danny. I guess I don't hear right.

Put that iron away again! the bearded man then demanded.

The man in the Saddle Coat reluctantly followed this instruction.

    The bearded man approached Danny.

They're strapping on a revolver now and coming to the saloon. We rode through town. There's a promising store back there called Long Branch. We'll be waiting for you there. Guess that marshal won't mind a fair gunfight...

Excuse me? stuttered Danny. He had gone pale. Why do you want to shoot it out with me?

The bearded man spat noisily, then swung himself onto his horse. You seem to have a bloody past, Wilbur! he shouted. Anyway, somebody put up $3,000 to blow a hole in your head!

The other now swung himself into the saddle as well.

If you're a guy, show up at Long Branch in ten minutes!

The two put spurs to their horses and chased down Main Street.

Peggy Watson propped her hands on the windowsill of her Rising Star Ranch business room. The blonde girl was breathing heavily. She was completely naked. Behind her stood Marshal Glenn Morgan, also not wearing a thread on his body. He grasped her buttocks and pressed his loins against her. In regular thrusts he penetrated her. Her breasts bobbed in the same rhythm. Yes, that's good, she whispered. But Glenn was barely listening. He was far too focused on the exciting body of this classy woman.

The movements became more and more violent.

Oh, Glenn! Nobody does it for me like you! she moaned.

    Glad you appreciate it, Peggy!

And I suppose you're going to say you didn't get anything out of it at all, huh?

Glenn grinned. Silly habit of you women...

    What? gasped Peggy.

    The chatter during sex!

    I appreciate your sacrifice, Glenn!

Glenn's hands moved higher, stroking her waist, her belly, then embracing and kneading her firm breasts. Then the storm of passion swept them both away.

Sweat beaded from Peggy's skin. The girl closed her eyes, pressed her lips together. She pressed her pelvis against Glenn, who thrust deep into her again and again.

Then finally came the redeeming climax.

Peggy could no longer support herself. But Glenn held her from behind with his strong arms. They were both breathing heavily. His hands held her breasts, felt her racing heartbeat.

Stay like that, she whispered, Don't go away.... not yet...

A horseman dashed onto the front lawn of the Rising Star Ranch at that moment. He was coming from the bridge that crossed the Cold River. On the other side of the river was the town of Deadwater. A veritable fountain of dust trailed behind the rider, so that at first one could hardly see anything of him.

In front of the ranch house, he reined in his horse.

That's Danny Wilbur, Glenn stated in amazement. My God, he rode like the devil! I've never seen him whip along like that before. At most, his horse after he threw it off...

Peggy's arms moved back, held his hips, and pulled her closer to him again. She snuggled up to him as she did so. Her eyes were closed. A pensive smile played around her lips. Stay here, Glenn...

That's why when Danny rides like that, there's something going on in town, Glenn opined, his blood slowly receding from other areas of his body to return to his head.

Oh, Glenn... let the poor bank robbers and bandits have a good day... and me too!

Glenn slid out of her. She turned, wrapping her arms around his strong neck. Glenn
