About this ebook

The conflict was within my family as to help my mother with serious pancreatic cancer. My sister, her daughter and my aunt wanted to follow their conventional medical doctor's advice to just let her die.

Whereas my brother and me after talking to holistic doctors who said, "she can be helped and does not have to die." The only place my Mother could stay at that time was at my sister's, who thought it better that she die.
Then Mom had to go to the hospital for a bowel blockage. There she was treated by my sister's conventional doctor who thought it was best that she die.

My brother and I were able to take my Mother to New York City to be treated by holistic Doctor Revici. The result there was that Dr. Revici did give us hope and gave her a selenium mineral that reduced her pain. Mom only wanted to stay 3 days for she felt isolated there. Thus I was in contact with said doctor until my Mother's death 12/31/1979.

This doctor until my Mother's death as to how it was going for her.

Suggested Title: A Challenge to Traditional Medicine

    Preamble:

Most Americans put their faith in traditional medical advice and in traditional medicines. But are they missing valid and less expensive cures? Our big medical business is selling pills and expensive treatments as radiation and surgery that benefit the company stockholders more than benefit the patient?

This book offers wise medical advice and facts that challenges traditional medical treatments.

The discussion begins with a family crisis. When my mother became deathly sick, the family responded with questions about how best to save her life.

Antonio Frato, a loving son, describes the heated argument within his family about how to best respond to their mother’s crisis. This became a battle between holistic medicine and traditional medicines.

The crisis occurred when my sister and her daughter though it best to just go along with what Mom’s doctor Z. told us, she is going to die. At the same time the holistic doctors that my brother and I talked with gave us hope that Mom can get better.

A Family Crisis As To Use Holistic Medicine Versus Traditional Medicine,

    INTRODUCTION

A Family Crisis Family split over the life of my Mother as to how to proceed by use of Traditional Medical Treatment that said that she will die or Holistic Medicine who gave us hope.

Tony: Father Dietz a friend of my Mother for 20 years, conducted her wedding service in 1968. Then 11 years later he eulogized Mom at her funeral service. She was a person with great love and faith in her God and her fellow men. He said that her family should not mourn because she was prepared for her transcendence as a spirit with God. Her faith in God was one we should emulate some of which was raising 2 families, private business and church."

Tony: My Mother at 55 years of age after my father died in 1957 was doing all well as Bank Secretary My younger brother Richard living in her home became married and left her home. Now in 1967 for the first time, she found herself alone. Mom in 1968 entered in a second unhappy marriage with Joe, a widower 12 years younger than her. Joe brought in his 2 sons one 19 and the other 15 years old, and a girl 8 years old.

Tony: In 1971 Mom needed a heart operation because her heart was enlarged. Mom had a scarred mitral valve, which needed to be replaced. In Mom ‘s view that it was caused by the stress from Joe and his family living there in her small house.

Tony: I asked Mom at that time if she wanted to leave Joe and his family due to the tension she was under. Instead she listened to Marcella, her daughter and her sister, Aunt Mary, who said: it was better to stay with Joe who would take care of you. In the following years my Mom referred to this decision as the big mistake.

Tony: My mother had her heart operation and recovered. Eight years later Mom, at 66 years old, was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer. This was quite a lesson for me because I saw the killing aspect of Mom’s chronic stress. Mom’s home was too small for Joe and his daughter and 2 sons when I look back at what happened, I cannot believe that my sister and my brother and myself allowed Mom to stay with Joe after her heart operation. I did not have good communication with my sister who is 3 years older.

    CHAPTER ONE

Tony: I wanted to learn about stress reduction, which I experience with my Mother, Sister, brother and in laws. Thus, in 1972 I
