About this ebook

“Matthew – Saving Humanity” is the third and final book in the trilogy “Saving Humanity.”
The first book, “Rubix – Saving Humanity,” introduces the Heros of these books.
The second book, “Albert – Saving Humanity,” gives us their long history and why they are here.
The third book (this book), “Matthew – Saving Humanity,” wraps up everything?
Can a child with extraordinary mental abilities save the universe? Great cognitive ability comes with excellent knowledge, but wisdom is only obtained with age.
The General thought we had defeated the enemy. What would happen if there were many more planets where the enemy lived.
The only way to determine if we have defeated the enemy is to search every solar system in the universe. There are one-trillion-trillion solar systems in the universe. If we could, but we can not search a thousand solar systems a year, it would take the number one followed by twenty-one zeros years. That time estimate does not consider if the enemy moves during the search.

I strongly urge you to read the books in order.

I was a successful computer consultant working with multinational companies. The human mind only fascinated me in its relationship of how computers can be made to work like humans (neural networks).I started working with the human mind full-time and on computers part-time. I studied neuroscience research extensively. My new task in life is to break down the different parts of the mind and help people find solutions to their problems. This book is just one of a series of books on helping the human condition via the human mind. I hope you will find this book and the books that follow to be helpful in your life.Jeff has also written, “Wise123 Brain Exercise” and “10 Steps to a Better Brain”.

    Chapter 1

    Mathew

Jack is at the door, holding a top security case, dressed in his Class A uniform. Jack always calls me before coming over, so it is a surprise to see my number one man at my door without a warning he is coming.

Without a word said, I led him to my private study.

Jack says, It is not necessarily bad. My interpretation of his comment is the situation is horrible.

I sit down on my desk chair. People tend to be more relaxed when they are sitting. I am sure by the look on Jack’s face, this will be bad.

Jack says it is about Matt (my son). Matt is an average-looking boy, quick to smile when someone talks to him, and pure energy on the playground. No real friends, but there is a girl that he likes. Matt is a straight A student. He likes Khaki pants because he likes how the word Khaki sounds, plaid button-down shirts, and penny loafers. No one has ever seen him study. He might skim a book, but he never asks questions about his course material.

Jack says, His private school has been testing him on every increasing intelligence test. He is so intelligent that they can not rate him. He makes me look like an idiot.

I say, That sounds like good news. What is the problem?

Jack says, They want to examine him in a laboratory.

I leap up from my chair; my face turns red; I shout to Jack, Let me make this clear!. Anybody says that to me, that person dies on the spot! Call Lisa and ask her to come home immediately. I’m going to call Daddy. Tell security to get Matt home now; double the guard on Matt, Lisa, and myself. Get Major Jennie Miller here in the next five minutes. Once Lisa, Mat, and Jennie are here, our home is locked down. No one else is allowed in.

Daddy, Lisa’s father, was recently re-elected to a new ten-year term as President of Alpha Prime, our home planet. Lisa is my wife, riches person on Alpha Prime, and Matt is our ten-year-old son, whose mental capabilities are far beyond measure.

I am General Peter Miller, the Head of all Military Forces. Major Jennie Miller (not a relation) is the interim head of planetary security.

Jack, General Jack, second in charge of the military, my best friend, confidant, is my go-to guy for all problems requiring unique solutions.

I call the Whitehouse. I tell the operator that this is most urgent, that I do not care what the President is doing; he must take this call now.

I tell the President about the report I just got from Jack. I am sure this will bring out the nut jobs; we need to act fast. I am bringing Matt home, and I have Lisa on her way home. The President says he will look into this, and somebody will hang! Powerful grandfathers can be mean.

I tell Jack, The President is looking for the originators of the report; find them before he does. I want to talk to them first!

Jack says, Lisa, Matt, and Jennie are at the front door. I draw my eight-twenty (our current stun kill weapon) and tell Jack to let them in.

Jack draws his eight-twenty and opens the door. They walk into the living room, with obvious concern on her face, Lisa asks what is going on?

I initially ignore Lisa’s question, turn to Jennie and say, You are now living here; if you need anything, have security retrieve it for you. Matt should always be in your sight, or you have a thermal scan of the room he is in.

I ask Jack to tell Lisa about the report."

After Lisa gets the report, she says that we have always known that Matt is exceptional; the report does not sound bad but good.

I take tight hold of Lisa’s arm and say, ’ examine him in a laboratory’ usually means dissection.

I never heard Lisa scream so loudly; she screams, I’m going to kill them! I know her; she means it.

She tries to pull her eight-twenty while I use all of my strength to hold her arm down. I tell her Daddy and Jack are tracking them down; please relax.

I ask Jack if it is okay for me to look at his DNA. With a quizzical look on his face, he says, Yes.

I say that Matt and I are going down to the command center. Jennie immediately runs over to my side and says, Very good, Sir. Indicating she is staying with us.

I look at Jennie and say, Everything you see and hear in the command bunker is the Most Top Secret. Tell anyone, and you will die.

Trying to hide the surprised look on her face, Jennie says, Yes, Sir.

Lisa asked, General Honey? Lisa wants to stay with Matt. I say she can come, but she has to put away her eight-twenty. Her arm relaxes, and I let go of her arm.

I say to Lisa, And remember, Miss Blabber Mouth, this is Most Top Secret.

Matt giggles like a little child saying, Miss Blabber Mouth. Sometimes he reminds me he is a child.

I tell Jack to check our security forces that I want everything perfect. I say we may be down there for several hours. Noone, including you, may come down to the command center unless requested. I tell Jack to check in every hour.

We go down to the Command center. I ask Matt to start comparing the DNA on Jack, you, and me. I say find the defining factor.

I asked Lisa to come with me into a private side room. I close the door, and we sit down on a couch; I take ahold of her hand and say, Matt and I are the same. We are human, but someone slightly changed me to make me special; I passed that along to Matt.

I spent my entire life trying to hide just how smart I am. I am definitely the smartest human besides Matt, who is as smart as I am. No other human is close to our intellectual level.

I presume Matt stopped trying to hide how smart he is because school is so boring.

Matt and I have never talked about our acumen, but we know we have it.

Lisa asked, When did this happen to you?

I say, I was five months old. I don’t know why or who, but I remember it happening at five months.

We go back into the main room. Matt says he found the sequence.

I checked his work, and it is correct.

Matt says, I suggest an ELF beam to Pluto.

I say, That is where I think they can be located. Let’s jump an ELF-capable satellite to Pluto.

I send the satellite to Pluto.

Four minutes later, a hologram appears in the middle of our floor.

The image asks, How may we help you, General? The image looked human with nondescript features and dressed in simple clothes.

His hands are interlocked, and he has a slight smile on his face.

To be polite, what are your name and your race’s name?

The image says, You can call me Steve; we do not have names as you humans. Our race you may call ‘One,’ again we do not have names.

I say, Are all Eek evil? If so, please give us the location of the evil Eek.

The image says, "Yes, all Eek are evil. They attack, kill, and eat all
