About this ebook
In Other Words is an epic journey of poetic verse that reflects the artist's vision of his dreams and personal experiences. Compiled, revised, and edited during the summer and fall of 2022, it is a culmination of a lifelong collection of ideas and writings, and the result of an intense rebirth of creativity.
This coincided with the author's recent battle with throat cancer, which while extremely difficult, finally gave him the time he needed to put forth the effort needed to put together such an important work. Poetry fans will delight in the author's ability to intersperse the simple with the profound, providing works that will appeal to both the casual reader and scholars.

When life in all its savage and beautiful forms present, it is incumbent on the artist to interpret these forms through their preferred medium. The written word has for me been an equal struggle to life itself; thus for me the perfect vehicle to capture some of its moments, splendors, and challenges.

Stories in any form are the gift of life; they give us
a sense of wonder and escape, if we let ourselves see.
THE HISTORY
A king had come along
He sang the peasants’ song
But woe to their joyful glee
In his heart was larceny
As the evil bursar oversees
Those raped by poverty
He scrapes their bitter toil
Until they lay under soil
The lords of the manor sing
As the servants’ pie will bring
Joy to them and their ilk
In their finery and their silk
And the power of dynasty
Which is the true infamy
Is the law of the land
As they take out their hand
Trouncing on the gilded beach
On whose bevy they do leech
Guilt is levied as peasant’s sin
They but victims to the wind
Blowing hard like a gale
Yet is unseen, a stealthy veil
Wrapping up the society
Dressed as a gift of piety
PERU
Walking the ancient paths
that the Inca once strolled
the women in their bowlers
and men in woolen clothes
The nod of the alpaca
as they meander on
the fields in the foothills
past the chiseled stone
Patterned blankets hang
along the Andean slope
as the winds snap hard
above the winter snow
The verdant rivers murmur
flecked in gleaming gold
teeming like the eternal
banks of hanging boughs
The condors of the Culca
ride the hallowed winds
as the ancient cultures
till in the far andenes
In the sacred
