Chapter 1 — What Is Faith and Why Is it Important?

Aperson has to somehow learn how to be hopeful and self-reliable to overcome a bad situation in life, and most people have become so dependent on the system that when the system abandons them they lose all hope.

As we can’t then develop a trust in a self that is found lost in life, the only option is to trust a higher intelligence or force to guide us.

This trust is not blind but rather apparent in an alignment between our spiritual self and the outside world — it is the knowing before knowing, and the seeing before seeing.

This topic can be understood with a question people often ask me:

— Why can't you say how long you will stay in a city and when you will leave?

The reason is easy to explain but not easy to understand for those who can't see life in the same way I do.

In essence, if I plan I become subjected to fate and if I don't plan I am in control of my fate.

A bird does not control the wind, for example, but only his willingness to fly. And it is true that when you catch the current of the wind you can fly higher. But people do have a choice to live through reason or through life’s miracles.

Miracles can't be explained while reason can but you can't be surprised by reason, as its purpose is to explain what you already have and conditions your mind for more of the same, and in order to experience more of that which is not the same, you have to necessarily allow yourself to be stupid and lost. There is no other way!

That is the true meaning of being humble — to allow others to disagree with you —, as understandings are found in the ways already known and those keep you in the dark — trapped in labyrinths of social paradigms that never end.

The light is then not something you find through what you understand but your faith in that which you can't understand or explain.

As a matter of fact, as long as you can explain yourself to others, you have not seen enough.

It is truly an honor to be called crazy and to know that many of my followers are called crazy too by the people they know after applying my words, because this means my mission is aligned with their results and the results aligned with the light, and as long as you follow this light, you will be found lucky by the same people who called you crazy.

This is normal because people must criticize that which they can’t understand to justify their own ignorance.

Much of this ignorance is measured through the topic of faith, which is why nearly everyone I ever met knows nothing about it, not even the many thousands of people I encountered in various religious groups.

They trust their eyes and their perceptions too much to know what faith is.

They also demotivate very fast and change their mind and their promises to others quite easily, thus their faith, in reality, has no value for them, no matter how many times they mention the word. Not even God can have any faith in them because they easily lose it.

Faith is when you are willing to die for what you believe because you will, and this is why most people don’t really like to apply faith to themselves for too long.

Everything that represents you to the world must die for your spirit to be reborn.

It is a symbolic death in terms of its physical aspect but a real death in what concerns your psyche.

This is the true spiritual baptism and can't be fulfilled by merely submerging yourself in waters.

Rituals have replaced meanings and turned people into fools, while those who do know see that only then do you truly know what faith is — it begins with an intention and ends with its realization.

This intention is your cross, and converts into feathers and roses at the end of the journey.

Therefore, do not let yourself be discouraged by the stones thrown against you in the form of malignant judgements, ridicule and anger, but dissolve them with a strong belief in what you do.
