About this ebook
Connie Muther, author, consultant, lecturer and educator
Heglin writes with the wit and richly complex narrative of Mark Twain and the folksy narrative vigor of Garrison Keillor…Inevitably, each story leaves me hungry for the next adventure.
Barbara Rose: Award-winning Multimedia Producer/Director, Writer, Director of Development Film/TV, Producer of RacigNellieBly.com and graduate in English and Comparative Literature.
John C. Heglin
John C. Heglin has had a unique and varied life with escapades extending from harrowing to hilarious. He writes funny, scary, and uplifting stories from his real-life experiences, with heart, a helping of wit, and a touch of humor. John’s early life situation led him to be very audacious and unafraid to try new things. He shares some of the resulting exploits and (mis)adventures, ranging from the merely improbable to the seemingly impossible. Possessing insatiable curiosity, especially about nature, science, love, life, and death, led John to many observations and adventures that most people could not begin to imagine were possible. Stories spanning more than five decades take the author from boyhood to manhood. You can see the man within the growing boy and clearly still see the boy within the man. These stories are heartening, heartwarming, fun, whimsical, thought provoking, unusual, totally fascinating, and, amazingly enough, all true.
