Staunton, Jr. was born in 1957 in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu. His goal in life was to follow in the footsteps of his father and grandfather and become a member of the Honolulu Police Department. He would, however, end up on the opposite side of the law. Staunton today resides at a minimum security prison in Arizona serving a life term. He will be eligible for parole in 2019.view less
