I pulled up to the Christensen estate and was mildly surprised to see Elyas's sleek black sedan parked in the driveway. It was a rare occurrence that he was home when I was there. I ignored the nervous tumble in my belly as I exited my car and ascended the steps into the massive home I spent most of my evenings in.
