About this ebook

Becki – Roderick is unbelievably gorgeous. I feel like I've had a crush on him forever. Only problem is, he's my brother's best friend. Frustratingly he's never even looked at me before. But now he's back for a break from college, staying with my brother for a few days, and it's the night of my graduation party. I'm all dressed up and now for the first time ever, I can really feel him looking at me. Not only that but sparks are definitely flying…

Roderick – Wow, what happened to Becki? When did she grow up like that? What a shame she's off limits, my best friend, Jamie, has always warned me away from her. That hasn't been a problem until now. Now I know it's going to be a struggle to keep my hands off of her…

***The prequel book is a hook up when they are younger on the night of Becki's graduation party, before they both go their separate ways in life, him to a year in England which his father has arranged for him as a part of his course, and her off to college, thinking they are unlikely to see one another again...***

Graduation! I called out over FaceTime to my best friend Rosie as I strolled through my front door to get ready for the party of a lifetime. "I can’t believe it’s finally happened. High school, done."

We deserve it, girl! Rosie chuckled playfully as she held up yet another dress to her. What do you think about this one? You think Matt will finally notice me?

I just about managed to resist the urge to roll my eyes. Just because Matt came from the wealthiest family in town and had the sort of mansion home that allowed him to host the graduation party, didn’t mean all the girls needed to go gaga over him. I honestly couldn’t see the appeal myself; there was certainly nothing about him that particularly drew me his way. He looked good because he could afford to look good, but he had the sort of arrogant personality that went with it. But Rosie had adored him from afar for as long as I could remember, and this was the night of our graduation party where all fantasies were supposed to come true. Where guests could hook up with the people they’d liked all through high school because our lives were about to take a brand-new path. We were on our way to college soon, with pastures anew.

I think that dress will look absolutely stunning on you, I insisted, failing to mention Matt at all. You’ll be the belle of the ball.

What are you going to...? Rosie’s words trailed off as she narrowed her eyes in, looking at something behind me. Is that... Roderick?

A heat burned in my cheeks, but I laughed it off. Oh, ha ha! Just because you know I don’t understand your crush on Matt, doesn’t mean...

No, seriously, she interjected so quickly I had no choice but to spin around just in case she wasn’t joking. What if it was a robber or something?

My heart sank and leaped all at the same time. I couldn’t believe it—Rosie was right! Here I was in my own kitchen, peering in my own fridge, and freaking Roderick Brown was standing smirking at me, his eyebrow cocked in that way that just turned my knees to jelly. I blinked a few
