Within this wonderful construction, we find that the number Seven is mentioned on more occasions in the book of Genesis and Revelation. Stamping, with this, the Perfect Seal of Alpha and Omega from day one and into eternity.

Preface

Man’s life is shaped by all those things he has lived through time from the day of his conception. It is of the utmost importance to remember that just as raindrops fill a river, our life responds naturally to all those things that have accumulated over time inside.

How can we go up when circumstances’ weight seems to carry us down? Could we redirect time and change the destiny of our path? And if we could do it, how would we do it?

An exciting stage develops in children between 2 and 4 years old: the age of the why. During that period, children begin to know the world through communication with adults, using language as a tool. Their strong desire to learn leads them to repeatedly ask many questions on the same subject. Once they are satisfied with the answers, they gamely continue to ask about anything else that catches their attention.

It was in 1984 that, while still a child in the faith, I knelt and said: Lord, I have never made a covenant with anyone, I do not even know whether I should make one or not, but today I want to tell you that I have so many questions about your promises, that the truth is that I don’t even know where to start. It is possible that I don’t understand your word or how your power works, but if you teach me, I’m willing to learn!

That day, with tears in my eyes, I remember making a pact for the first time in my life that would change each of my days.

The commitment acquired with the Eternal was: I pledge before you, that whatever you teach me, likewise I will faithfully teach to each of your children (Matthew 10: 8).

From that day on and for more than 40 years -to this day- what could have become a long and harrowing desert of pain and confusion was transformed into a paradise of peace, where the continual blessing of the revelation of God’s excellent Rest has never ceased to flow (Isaiah 41:18; 43:19,20; Jeremiah 31:13; Ezekiel 47:1-12).

In his letter to the Romans (2:11), the apostle Paul affirms that God is no respecter of persons, so indeed, the grace and purpose that the Lord has manifested in my life is more than available to anyone who places their trust in him.

Let’s look at the powerful and moving moment of grace, love, and creative faith narrated by Matthew, Mark, and Luke.

✓ The boy with seizures (Mark 9:14-29).

In this account, the main characters are a father, his seriously ill son, Jesus, and his disciples. The deeply burdened father brings his son before the disciples to be healed. As we are told, this boy suffered from an extreme state of mental imbalance that caused him to lose his sanity and led him to transient madness, which is why he is described as a person who suffers from seizures (Matthew 17:15; Luke 9:37-42).

The father of the young man, after having taken him to the disciples of Jesus to be healed and seeing no improvement in his son, decides to take him directly before Jesus himself as the last resort.

Once before Jesus, and after all the failed attempts and all the anguish experienced, that man in his pain cries out to Jesus from the depths of his heart, saying, But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us (Mark 9:22). To this request, Jesus responds with a statement as outstanding as it is unexpected, and that is: Everything is possible for one who believes.

We cannot overlook the degree of honesty of this man who, despite believing, felt that the weight of his suffering had shaken his faith. So, his response to Jesus was, I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief! (Vs. 24).

In this life, every human being brings at least a tiny seed of faith (Matthew 17:20). Once it grows, it ceases to be ours, to become the faith of God that works and removes one by one the obstacles and impossibilities that prevent balance and fluidity of a full life (1 John 5:4; Galatians 2:20).

Returning to the moment, Jesus says, Everything is possible for one who believes. I think it would be vital to ask ourselves to what extent and in what way can we make the world of the impossible become a world of opportunities and open doors in our favor?

In the pages of this book are truths written by the divine hand from eternity. Facts that will answer many of the questions and mysteries in man’s life are now revealed by grace through the pages of The Rest of God, Entering the Perfect Day, The Day That Never Ended!
