Preface
Dealing with the COVID-19 Coronavirus was very different for many of us. I lived in New York City when the virus hit the United States. The time we were in quarantine was initially a surreal and uneasy experience for me. My life went from being busy in the hustle and bustle of the city that never sleeps to complete isolation. Now all I had was a lot of time on my hands.
During the Pandemic, my spiritual awaking started to happen. I started my meditation practice about five years ago. I thought I was always living my life as an awake human being. Man, was I wrong! I want to share my experiences with you on how I survived the Pandemic so you have the tools and lessons I had. I wrote this book to teach you how to survive in an unpredictable world! Once you finish this 30-Day Guidebook, you can share your story of how you survived and be there for another person. Once you go inside who you are, nothing on the outside could ever hurt you again.
For the first time, I felt great fear. I was scared for my life, family, friends, country, and every human on the planet. I had the strongest urge to go outside, see the sky and trees, and feel the grass under my feet to know everything would be okay. It was the first time I got to breathe fresh air again. My fear quickly melted into a feeling of love and compassion for every living thing. Tears poured out of me, and a genuine sense of peace and stillness overcame me.
I asked what is the message that this quarantine was telling me? What is the message it is telling the world? What could the universe be telling us if we would only listen?
My story starts at age six, 1970, in the Bronx,
