    This book is a collection of fragments from Not the End of the World by the 23rd-century English historian, Richard Smith-Khan. This text came into my hands during a temporal anomaly, the precise details of which I’m not at liberty to discuss at the present juncture. I received Smith-Khan’s book in an incomplete state, with many missing or scrambled passages. However, the material that I was able to salvage makes astonishing reading, as I think you will agree.
