    Captain Kwesi Eyi Acquah (MNI)

An experienced Ship Captain and Petroleum Economist

When I came into personal contact with Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce, little did I realise that his writings mirrored his values, as revealed in the Holy Bible. As our relationship grew in respect, candour and knowledge, our Bible discussions dominated our daily discourse for hours unend.

Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce’s Teachings of the Book of Psalms in the Holy Bible, titled: Complete Bible Curriculum Vol. 6 – The Book of Psalms, demonstrate his prowess in inspiring people to seek our Lord God properly through reasoning from the Holy Bible.

This particular work of the Author will open your spiritual understanding to appreciate the old-aged wisdom that, if you do not have the Holy Spirit, it will not be easy for you to read the Bible, form cover-to-cover.

The Holy Bible is the Lord God’s Word. It is made up of 66 books. These inspired words are about Our Lord God. As a Bible- Believing Christian, I have a tradition of reading the Holy Bible cover-to-cover, once a year.

Succinctly, I have great delight in the Book of Psalms in the Old Testament of the Holy Bible. This poetic book of the Holy Bible captures the attributes of our LORD God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, which belong to God alone:

Psalm 138:2 (KJV) I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

My daily engagement with the Author of this book has helped me to understand the Bible, especially The Psalms with unusual wisdom. Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce, the Author, has reduced onto paper the teachings of the meanings of the poetic words in the Book of Psalms.

My deep insight of the whole Bible has made me to link various books in the Holy Bible to the Book of Psalms. As a Marine Navigator (Ship Captain), who has sailed across almost all the seas globally, I have prayed in stormy and calm times at sea, using the Bible, especially the Book of Psalms, for God’s help in all situations:

    Psalm 107:23 (KJV) They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

Psalm 107:24 (KJV) These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

Psalm 107:25 (KJV) For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

Psalm 107:26 (KJV) They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

Psalm 107:27 (KJV) They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.

Psalm 107:28 (KJV) Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

Psalm 107:29 (KJV) He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Psalm 107:30 (KJV) Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.

Psalm 107:31 (KJV) Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

These prayers received answers to reassure my faith in God’s Word. My prayer life has taught me that if you do not quote the verses in the Bible, especially the Psalms during prayers, you are talking to yourself, instead of our LORD God. Hence, your prayers may not be answered by God!!!

Psalm 17:4 (KJV) Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Psalm 119:11 (KJV) Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Psalm 119:43 (KJV) And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.

John 17:14 (KJV) I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

My upbringing from my dearest mother, Obaapanyin Sarah Ama Tekyiwa Acquah (i.e. a woman of prayer and candour) taught me a life full of prayers from the Holy Bible. ‘Old lady’ as we respectfully call our mum was our fresh air to life. We valued her very well. We had her attention and ears at all times. Her calmness was reassuring, and her patience and forgiving nature were worth emulating. Her greatest strengths were her Values, Faith in God and Prayers.

Proverbs 31:1 (KJV) The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

Proverbs 31:2 (KJV) What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?

Proverbs 31:3 (KJV) Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

Proverbs 31:4 (KJV) It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:

Proverbs 31:5 (KJV) Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

As a woman with no European-style education but very well educated in traditional wisdom, she did all she could for us to get formal education. Even when death took our father away in the 1980’s, she encouraged us to stay in school because she believed that her hard work, guidance, and prayers would bring us help and protection.

Proverbs 1:8 (KJV) My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Proverbs 6:20 (KJV) My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Interestingly, in 1980, even when we were being offered free transportation at ‘Wey Wey’s House in Abasraba near the Methodist cemetery, Winneba- Ghana, to go to Nigeria for greener pastures, mother would call you at dawn and say to you:

Now we don’t have much but God feeds us daily.  Our prayers would be answered in the future, so we are better together than to be separated by travelling.

Despite, the oil boom in Nigeria, we obeyed her and none of us went to Nigeria. A mother with foresight due to her belief in the Holy Bible and prayers. We knew that every day of our mum’s life, she did something for other people with love and in dignity.

As a Kenkey vendour and a woman of prayers, people credited food from her despite her herself buying the maize on credit. She would not harass, insult or inform anyone about someone’s indebtedness to her. If any of her children remitted her in good time, she would tell the debtor that she has cancelled the debt because her children have paid the debt. This has been part of my upbringing and I thus built my life upon the Holy Bible and prayers.

Mother lived a quiet and dignified life based upon her beliefs that we did not choose our parents and that the Lord God who gave us our parents will also make us glad through His works. Her faith had it that "we will triumph in the works of God’s hands." And so has it been!!!

Without her, we believe that the world undoubtedly would be a darker place for us, yet we know what she would have said in this regard: "we must live the values that she taught us". These values are the contents of the Holy Bible.

Old Lady taught us to live by her values, faith in God, and prayers.

Our mother taught us that one day, she would travel to Heaven and we would be on our own. Her greatest prayer was for us (i.e. her children) to remain united and helpful to each other. Once we keep our unity, God will continue to be our shield and exceeding great reward. This teamwork spirit is with us, since she was called into glory and we will protect it to honour her.

Genesis 15:1 (KJV) After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.

2 Samuel 22:36 (KJV) Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Psalm 18:35 (KJV) Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

Furthermore, everyone who knew our mother can testify to her candour. Despite being taciturn, her openness and honesty were remarkable. She regularly reminded us that people around us would malign and destroy us in many ways, however, it won’t be our duty to fashion a payback. Rather we should allow our integrity and uprightness to preserve us through prayers.

1 Kings 9:4 (KJV) And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments:

Job 27:5 (KJV) God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

Psalm 7:8 (KJV) The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

Psalm 25:21 (KJV) Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Proverbs 11:3 (KJV) The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

Proverbs 19:1 (KJV) Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Proverbs 20:7 (KJV) The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.

In addition, as our mother sat under her shed to sell her banku in the morning, it was a sight worth noting that there was a particular mentally challenged man who would cross the gutter to her, for free food. Mother, without hesitation, would politely give him fish and banku. We used to ask her why she did that, and with her usual smile, she would say: this will prevent my descendants from becoming like him. She called it her seed sowing for our future and her respectful kindness to people was prayer unto God:

Joshua 2:12 (KJV) Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:

2 Samuel 2:6 (KJV) And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

2 Samuel 9:1 (KJV) And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

2 Samuel 9:3 (KJV) And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

2 Samuel 9:7 (KJV) And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

1 Kings 2:7 (KJV) But shew kindness unto the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be of those that eat at thy table: for so they came to me when I fled because of Absalom thy brother.

Ephesians 2:7 (KJV) That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Moreover, all of us have been confronted with serious problems in our lives and careers. Nevertheless, mother stood by us. At the Eden Revival Church, we were known not because we joined in their church service to worship but because of our mother’s regular prayer requests for her children.

Another strength that she developed in us was Faith in God. All our close associates know that we are Bible-Believing Christians. Today we are leaders in our various churches. Old Lady would gather all of us around her bed and lead us in prayers, morning and night. She would say that if we did not invest prayer equity in our endeavours, we would be fighting our own battles without God. She believed in freedom of attending any church of God. Hence, each of us attends a different church – Kweku in Assemblies of God, Kofi in Presbyterian church, Kwesi in Methodist church, and Abeiku in Victory Bible Church, just to mention but a few. Mother attended church even at 89 years on every Sunday until we stopped her, whereupon, the Church leaders joined her at home for a special prayer session prior to her final hospital appointment.

Many see the Psalms as catalyst for prayers in various times, especially when calamity befalls them. However, my regular Bible Studies with this Author, Rev. Prof. Pryce, has made to understand that the Book of Psalms is a collection of the LORD God’s answers to questions and instructions

Rev. Prof. Pryce has taught other books of the Holy Bible in different volumes and publications. A case in point is Leviticus 19:10 (KJV) And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God.

However, one would ask: why should I obey this verse? Psalm 41:1-3 provide the answer with eight blessing such as:

Psalm 41:1 (KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Psalm 41:2 (KJV) The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Psalm 41:3 (KJV) The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.

In addition, the Book of Psalms is prophetic in its outlook. For example, in Psalm 22, it clearly mirrors Jesus Christ’s Crucifixion at Calvary, as stated by the Books of Mathew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23 and John 19.

My life as an International Petroleum Economist and a Ship Captain (Master Mariner Unlimited), with over 30 years international work experience has brought me face-to-face with life-threatening encounters at sea and in the Oil Rigs locations in the dreaded North Seas. These have been the times when I did recall all that my mother taught me with respect to prayers and reading of the Holy Bible.

I recall an occasion in the Port of Aberdeen when the leadership of the Mission to Seafarers visited my offshore vessel M/V Vos Server. We prayed together and had a fruitful Bible Study on the Navigating Bridge, the Wheelhouse. After the discussion, the clergy praised my Bible prowess and ordered for me The Holy Bible, updated New American Standard. They brought it to me after my 28 days on Transocean Oil Rig location at the North Sea, and he took a photograph with me on the Bridge. This photograph is on their website. They were astonished that a Ship Captain from African could live a clean life with the in-depth knowledge of the entire Holy Bible. Credit to my late mother.

Prayers, commitment to God and reading of the Bible enabled me to sail M/T Sol Lueshing from Elsina, Greece, to the port of Tema with limited crew and no Gyro Compass. We steered 6-on 6-off watches and by Magnetic Compass safely to Ghana. In all these challenges, Psalm 25, 27, and 23 were my pillars.

This Book of Psalm warns us in various ways. It uses Psalm 109 to advise us not to reveal secrets that are confided in us by others, because one would receive curses for failure to keep the secret. 2 Samuel 17 shows how David’s counsellor, Ahithophel, revealed a secret of how to capture David and kill him. David had to pray Psalm 109 against the dishonest Ahithophel.

2 Samuel 15:30 (KJV) And David went up by the ascent of mount Olivet, and wept as he went up, and had his head covered, and he went barefoot: and all the people that was with him covered every man his head, and they went up, weeping as they went up.

2 Samuel 15:31 (KJV) And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.

This special book, Complete Bible Curriculum Vol. 6 – The Book of Psalms, written by the Author, Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce, is Holy Spirit inspired and brings meaning and light to disperse all darkness that cloud the understanding of this poetic book in the Holy Bible.

This book you are about to read and study is wisdom inspired by the Holy Spirit and highly useful and specific. One of my favourite Psalm is Psalm 27:12:

Psalm 27:12 (KJV) Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

My mother taught me this verse at age 10, and she used to inform us that our enemies never wish us well. Also, we cannot know what they are doing against our progress, hence, we cannot fight them but once we commit them into God’s hands we are safe.

Psalm 25:2 (KJV) O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

Psalm 59:10 (KJV) The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

Psalm 9:13 (KJV) Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

Psalm 97:10 (KJV) Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 118:7 (KJV) The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

Such rich wisdom and benefits are the work of this particular book by Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce. We used to ask our mother: Why should we lift our eyes unto the LORD? As usual of her, she would quote the Holy Bible appropriately to respond. In this case Psalm 25:15 was her answer:

Psalm 25:15 (KJV) Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

We have benefited from quoting the right Bible verses to pray to our LORD God. This is what this book seeks to bless all its readers with.

Succinctly, make no mistake, Rev. Prof. Peter Pryce is an authority of the Holy Bible and because he is Holy Spirit blessed, this book will reveal God to you than you can imagine.

Here is a quick preview of the spiritual information that you will find in the book. These 71 summary statements are just a few of the total 1,785 study topics that this book presents as the complete teachings on The Book of Psalms. You need to read the book in order to get the full details.

    1. The Lord Jesus Christ used Psalm 110:1 (KJV) to teach Deductive Reasoning as a Methodology for Bible Teaching and Gospel Impartation.

    2. Your ability as a Man of God to eliminate every contradiction in your teaching of the Word of God is your evidence that you have attained unto Perfect Harmony of the Scriptures and unto the required Deductive Reasoning as the correct Methodology for Gospel Impartation!

    3. Salvation in the Old Testament.

    4. The Template of Salvation is Psalm 65:4 (KJV)!

    5. The LORD Jesus Christ teaches the Perfect Harmony Theory for Bible Translation and Interpreting.

    6. The LORD Jesus Christ teaches that Salvation is actually a School Curriculum that you must read and study. Salvation is a Taught School Activity.

    7. The Template of Good Success and Prosperity.

    8. Messianic Intervention of the LORD Jesus Christ in the Old Testament Scriptures before His physical coming in the Flesh.

    9. It is perfectly Christian to curse the wicked to perish in his wickedness because the LORD already abhors the wicked every day!

    10. It is NOT in the gene, DNA, vocabulary, speech, or thoughts of any child of Satan to seek God, to understand the Word of God, to love reading the Holy Bible, and to speak positively of Jesus Christ!

    11. A Template and Spiritual Direction to go to Heaven!

    12. Your righteousness is your obedience to the Word of God! If you do not obey God in all things, then you do not have any righteousness! Then, it also means that Satan can kill you at any time!

    13. The Law of Language Parity.

    14. According to the Law of Language Parity, the LORD God never communicates to a people in a language that they not understand!

    15. These are the Qualities and Character Contents of Integrity!

    16. It is normal for a Man of God to pray for the destruction of the enemies of God!

    17. Words are instruments of baptism!

    18. The Law of Accepting in the Spirit Realm.

    19. The Spiritual Meaning of Psalm 23.

    20. The Template for Qualifying to Enter Heaven.

    21. Here is yet again one more evidence that no true child of God has any freewill, neither is he a free moral agent!

    22. Judgment/Truth and Righteousness are the two things that, when you do, you can be sure of going to Heaven and you can also be sure of your deliverance!

    23. This also is worldwide Slavery and human trafficking that happened ONLY to Black People, showing that the Holy Bible is the History Book of Black People who are the true children of God!

    24. The Office of the Scribe of the Law of the God of Heaven!

    25. Without righteousness, there is no deliverance!

    26. Salvation is equally not possible when the person will not continue in the righteousness of God!

    27. The Template to Determine the Evil Spirit of Pride in a Person!

    28. Angels are spirits and fire and therefore cannot mate or copulate with humans to have children!

    29. Know this now, O vain Man of God, that Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm means that you the Prophet must first be walking in Truth and Righteousness before that command can work for you!

    30. Redemption is Salvation and it was already available in the Old Testament before the LORD Jesus Christ came in the Flesh!

    31. Here is the Template for Deliverance and how to raise the dead back to life!

    32. As we have said before, so say we again, that the correct way to baptize is NOT with water but to use words! As the enemy baptizes his victims with evil words, so the LORD God Almighty baptized them that should be saved with the Word of God the Gospel of Jesus Christ, even as we see the evidence in Psalm 109:3 (KJV)!

    33. The Lord Jesus Christ used Psalm 110:1 (KJV) to teach Deductive Reasoning as a Methodology for Gospel Impartation!

    34. The best prayer that you can pray to the LORD God is to repeat as many words of His Covenant to God!

    35. The LORD God Almighty defines what it means to fear the LORD God: it means to delight greatly in HIS commandments and do them!

    36. The LORD God Almighty is distributing curses and white people are among the cursed of the Earth!

    37. The doctrine of speaking in strange unknown tongues and languages in the churches is a doctrine of curse, punishment, wrath, evil, destruction, demonic practices, idolatry, worship of gold and silver, and all the cursed religious practices of Egypt!

    38. Therefore, when you engage in speaking in strange unknown tongues and languages in your churches, you are effectively putting a seal on yourself that you are marked for curses, punishment, wrath, evil, destruction, demonic practices, idolatry, worship of gold and silver, and all the cursed religious practices of Egypt!

    39. When the LORD God delivers you from death when you are still a sinner, then you owe the LORD for the borrowed life that you are living right now when the truth is that you should have been dead!

    40. Every person who is ignorant in the Word of God is a cursed person and is a proud person! Every proud person is of Satan! Every Man of God who teaches false doctrines is a cursed person and NOT a Man of God!

    41. You become alive and you live because a true and anointed Man of God taught you correct doctrines of the Word of God!

    42. The next time you as a Man of God, you stand and boast that the LORD God has blessed you with money, riches, properties, many branches of your church worldwide, and made you a millionaire, then know that those very words do testify against you that you are a child of Satan!

    43. Correct offerings are NOT the filthy offerings of Holy Communion wafers, bread, and wine that you offer in all your churches, instead, correct offerings are the offerings of words from the lips of a true child of God!

    44. Again, you are qualified to do praise and worship ONLY when you have thoroughly learned the Word of God!

    45. You are demon-possessed, you are a witch, you are a wizard, when you lie and deceive people!

    46. Therefore, to the true children of God, once saved forever saved, but to those who are NOT children of God, who live in sin, who lie every day, and who walk contrary to the Word of God, they are not even saved to begin with! Once saved forever saved is NOT for sinners but for those who walk CONTINUALLY in the Word of God!

    47. Salvation is possible ONLY when you CONTINUE IN HOLINESS in the Faith of the Gospel of the LORD Jesus Christ!

    48. That is Language Immersion and that was the methodology that Jesus Christ was teaching you to adopt in spreading the Word of God the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

    49. You pray for Jerusalem when Jerusalem is HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD!

    50. Afflictions will surely come to all true children of God but the same afflictions are your bridges to higher spiritual blessings!

    51. The solution against spiritual nakedness is truth and righteousness! Righteousness is the covering of the saints!

    52. As we have said before, so say we again, that the correct way to baptize is NOT with water but to use words, specifically, the Word of God!

    53. The correct doctrine of fasting that the LORD Jesus Christ was teaching!

    54. When you remove the language of shame from the Word of God, you are effectively stripping the Word of God of one part of its potency to reach and convert sinners back unto God, specifically, you are making the Word of God ineffective, and it is only Satan whose goal and desire is to see that the Word of God is ineffective!

    55. Therefore, you the so-called Christian, anytime that you ask the LORD God for anything, know that the ONLY answer that God will give you is from The Word of God, never outside of the Word of God!

    56. Here are the evidences for the Perfect Harmony Theory for Bible Translation and Interpreting that the LORD Jesus Christ was teaching the erudite Pharisees, Sadducees, Synagogue Rulers, High Priests, Pastors, and Church Leaders!

    57. You cannot teach the Word of God against the Word of God!

    58. When wicked people die, they go DOWN into the pit to Satan!

    59. When righteous people die, they go UP to God Almighty!

    60. A Man of God can teach you to know the Word of God, but Holy Spirit has to teach you to be able to obey the Word of God and to walk in it!

    61. Once again, the LORD God strengthens the doctrine that you do NOT need physical water to do Water Baptism!

    62. Here are the keys to deliverance!

    63. Psalm 145:4 (KJV) is one of the many examples of the spiritual license that the LORD God has given for true Men of God to write Holy Scriptures!

    64. The LORD God Almighty gives us one of the clearest evidences yet that when a man dies on the Earth, he/she shall not return to the Earth to continue what he/she had been doing before the death! Neither shall he/she have any remembrance of all his thoughts anymore while he yet lived on the Earth!

    65. Remember that not even your own wife who lies in your bosom is trustworthy!

    66. One of the ways in which you can practise righteous living is to help he poor, the needy, the widow, the stranger, the fatherless, and the destitute because all these poor people are in the direct protection of the LORD God Almighty

    67. The saints of the LORD God Almighty are the true children of God, NOT fake saints that the Roman Catholic Church has dubiously appointed!

    68. The LORD God Almighty makes it very clear that saints are the righteous people who obey the Word of God!

    69. There is something called the Ministry of Vengeance in the Holy Bible!

    70. The best way to praise the LORD God Almighty is NOT by using musical instruments in drumming and dancing in the churches, but to obey all the Commandments of God, daily, consistently, and diligently!

    71. Moreover, once you become aware of the Word of God, it also comes with utmost urgency to obey it, meaning that it is NOT up to you to decide a long timetable when you will do the work of God, gradually and gradually, or when you will fully obey God Almighty, no, you have to make haste to obey God!

Hermeneutics is the study and establishment of the principles by which you interpret the Word of God. Thus, any rules, theoretical or practical, that you follow in order to bring out the meaning of a Bible text, is called Biblical Hermeneutics.

The theoretical part is called Hermeneutics and then the actual application and implementation of the rules of Bible translation and interpretation, in order to bring out the hidden meaning: that is called Biblical Exegesis!

    ABSTRACT

The aim of this research was to discover a scientific method of intralingual Bible interpreting where scientific means that (1) the faithfulness and accuracy of the translation are verifiable and (2) replicability of meaning at the message level of the interpreting process is assured once the method is mastered. The method used for the research was simple: (1) explain the Perfect Harmony Method for Bible Translation and Interpreting and the aim of interpreting, (2) read the entire English Bible: King James Version, (3) discover how meaning was rendered in the Bible using only the Bible (KJV), (4) in the light of the Scriptures, examine the rendered meaning for perfect harmony at the lexical level, at the message level, and at the context level such that the accuracy of the rendering or the accuracy of the intralingual interpretation is assured by its perfect harmony with the rest of the entire Bible. We found two illustrations of the Perfect Harmony Method of Bible Translation and Interpreting in Mark 12 and Mark 15. Thus, by using the Bible as its own interpreter, we achieve faithfulness to the source text and accuracy of expression apart from the assurance that the interpretation is not contradicted by any other verse in the entire Bible.

To the extent that there are University Professors and academics who are still ignorant of the three levels of translation to wit: Intralingual Translation (One language translation), Intralingual Translation (two or more language translation), and Intersemiotic Translation (non-verbal, non-linguistic translation), it is important to state plainly and categorically that this textbook is a work of interpretation and translation. It is a work of both interpretation and translation because we interpret to translate and we translate to interpret!

INTRODUCTION TO THE PERFECT HARMONY THEORY

Translation is the process of rendering meaning from an initiator to a receptor in order to achieve understanding of communication. In this paper, both translation and interpretation are used interchangeably given that during the cognitive process of translation, there is an interpretation segment that intervenes prior to writing the translation whereas, on the other hand, the act of note taking during interpreting is a clear intervention of a major translation activity of writing (cf. Seleskovitch, Danica, et Lederer, Marianne 2001).

We identify three types of translation known as interlingual translation, intralingual translation and intersemiotic translation. First, it is possible to render meaning from one language into another…that is called interlingual translation. Secondly, it is possible to render meaning within the same language such as when you take a Bible verse and explain it or when you explain a proverb
