Is Jesus God?

Does Jesus see himself as God like his Father?
Is Jesus also the Father and the Father also Jesus?
Does Jesus have a throne of his own to sit alongside his Father?
Isn’t it Christianity a monotheism which worships only one god?
Does John who wrote Jesus’ gospel describe Jesus as God?
Do Jesus’ apostles see him as God?
If he is God, why when asked if he’s God, his answer is “I’m the son of God” and not “I’m God.”
There are other more questions to be asked concerning Jesus’ divinity, which this book will answer one by one to the fullest satisfaction of the readers.

THE SUMMATION

A NEW LIGHT

NO CLAIM

Nowhere in the 4 books of the Gospel, did Jesus DIRECTLY CLAIM to be God, other than pointedly and repeatedly saying that he is THE SON OF GOD. 

There are THREE INSTANCES in the Gospel where he clearly and directly identified himself as SON OF GOD.

THE FIRST INSTANCE:  John 10:36, Jesus said:

Am I insulting God when I say: ‘I AM THE SON OF GOD.’?

THE SECOND INSTANCE:  Luke 22:70 

In chorus they asked, SO YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD?  And Jesus said to them, YOU ARE RIGHT, I AM. 

THE THIRD INSTANCE: Matthew 16:13-17

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do people say the Son of Man is?

They replied, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.

But what about you? he asked. Who do you say I am?

Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD.
