Letters From a Dead Girl
()
About this ebook
Take a peek at a journal of a girl,
remembered in the breeze,
gone with the wind,
confessing her love for her Savior.
Day 48
The bathroom
is the meeting place
of all my insecurities, fears, tears, and overthinking
We're all there stealing glances at each other
until You
catch my eyes
and put me into perspective
I don't need to be lost at sea
I don't need to be tossed by winds and waves
'Just let me in your arms,' I say
Your blue-ice (eyes) staring back at me
rob my attention and steal me away
oh handsome Savior!
I will dwell in this moment
Day 93
You're the boy with the charming smile
A personality to befriend me
And stand by my side
Pushing me out my bed of mud
Pulling me up Your mountain
Automatically in love
It's a long and hard way
But we made it up here
By the way,
You and I have gone a long way through
the hard days
the highs and lows
but we had kept at it

Letters From a Dead Girl - Vennesa Samanthan
Day 1
Can we sing it one last time
How You love me
Can we sing it one more time
How long You’ve been waiting for me to notice You
I never guess what came after me
Sweeping me of the slippery glass road
Onto a golden hue path
They called Gold
I’m never so tuned out
I’m so out of it
You are more than a fantasy,
Not merely an escape
Not an ecstasy,
Not a one-time experience
You are the melody to the deaf ears
All your colors pop in my shining eyes
We’re more than just lover, I’m forever hunted by You
Waiting for You all the time,
Looking up at the sky, asking when, when is the time
[Now flying on a plane,
Looking out the window,
Looking for the place we’ll meet
In the sky]
When will the time and day come?
I’ll be ready
Like the seven wise virgins
Singing Hallelujah with a broken, wild heart
Day 2
You’re a dangerous Lion
But a friendly King
Day 48
The bathroom
is the meeting place
of all my insecurities, fears, tears, and overthinking
We’re all there stealing glances at each other
until You
catch my eyes
and put me into perspective
I don’t need to be lost at sea
I don’t need to be tossed by winds and waves
‘Just let me in your arms,’ I say
Your blue-ice (eyes) staring back at me
rob my attention and steal me away
oh handsome Savior!
I will dwell in this moment
