Delicate Electricity - AJ Jackson
In Our Hands
I don’t believe in deities or government servants
So let us let our relationship remain in our hands.
Two hearts, one life, bound in the eternal dance
With understanding and forgiveness of friends.
I have long considered you to be my wedded wife,
Not my girlfriend. No, you are the center of my life.
You erase the edge and anxiety of my soul’s strife.
You banish the demons away and out of sight.
You transformed home
into a person from a place,
Making me a homebody in every important sense.
Your electric touch tethers me in time and space
And makes all things unbearable less hurtfully dense.

Melt to Gold
My angel opens her divine golden gate,
Granting me an audience with the cosmos.
My worries and fears fade, divinely dissipate,
And sublime sensations envelope our throws.
If only the eternity felt wasn’t fated so fleeting,
That the moment was over, scarcely having begun.
The agony accompanying the awaiting, repeating
Set aflame my loins like the flames of the sun.
Oh how to get lost in the moment
Never needing the inevitable return-
Find some way to melt gold, entomb it,
And never again allow it to adjourn.

Two Thousand Nights
Over two thousand nights we have shared
And my love and passion continues to grow.
The universe paired us. I’ve been since spared.
No more trekking through Mordor like Frodo.
Only a minute fraction was less than bliss,
And, occasionally, the fault fell at my feet.
Still you set the rhythm of my heart, so kiss
Me, hold me, let us keep each other complete.
Reprieve received for your gleeful, submissive slave
Looking for clues how to bring you better happiness.
Show me, guide me, use me for what you crave.
I’ll be subservient and banish my toxic manliness.

Eject the Neglect
Let me remind you of our passions past
And eject the neglect of the present.
Let us be newly reborn at long last
And our stagnation broken and bent.
Imagine me carrying you to bed, o’er threshold,
Gently kissing you the path over.
My arms strong, my love stronger, my actions bold.
I’m ready to be forever your lover.
Your eyes a-glint while waiting my mount.
Your hands exploring lands I yearn to tame
Before taking hold of my eager fount,
Imploringly, summoning me by whispered name.
I relieve you from your clothes tight restrict
And kiss a path from north to blessed south.
My skin glides across yours, energy kinetic.
You brace for the embrace of my mouth.
A steamy sonnet my tongue traces one letter at a time,
Leaving you reveling with each words reveal.
You reach loftier apexes and continue to climb,
Quivering, quaking, begging mercy from the ordeal.
No quarter do you find. The sweet release continues.
I emerge to enter you from behind, aside.
Your fingers frantic, I plunge deep within you.
The gates of bliss welcome us, swinging wide.
You command, Pull my fucking hair!
As another wave washes you over, an endless tide.
Throbbing and tight. We are almost there.
You finish me, Oh God! I want your cum inside!

Igniting the Furnace’s Fervor
Tolerable existence, monotonous repetition.
Only the details differ from day to day.
A gray hue cast over my mood and vision;
No excitement or novelty or passion in my play.
A fleeting warmth felt only with her near
Reminds me I continue to live, to breathe,
But the flame wanes on the wick, clear.
What shall become of what remains of me?
I struggle daily to regain the technicolor
Days of white hot passion and excitement,
Fruitless to ignite the furnace's fervor;
My constant frustration and lasting lament.
My soul shrieks a sound I cannot make
And there is no comfort in my ill fit skin.
Have I exhausted the joy there is to take?
Scant joys are fleeting, shallow, and thin.
I feel like a sky worn smooth of clouds,
A tree unmasked of its webbing leaves.
Every touch is exacted through tactless shrouds,
Every sadness puts my soul on bended knee.
Why has the cycle stalled
