Supernatural Short Stories Collection - Granger T Barr
Introduction
This book covers more exciting topics not typically covered in my book series, Ghostly Encounters.
In this book, we cover Black-Eyed Kids (BEK), angels, fallen angels, demons, and who the Nephilim are, some of the fascinating subjects explored in the ten incredible stories collected here.
The natural and the supernatural are intricately linked.
These tales by real people and short commentaries will pique your curiosity about the paranormal.
Black-Eye Kids
You're relaxing at home when the doorbell rings. Looking through the peephole, you notice a small child with a hoodie covering their face.
You open your door and ask if they need assistance, but when they look at you, they seem lifeless black eyes.
It's easy to see why these creatures frighten us; it's in their name.
Black-Eyed Children, also known as BEK, are modern monsters whose eerie and unnatural appearance and behaviour inspire fear.
The unusual eyes are unsettling, but the monsters' age makes them terrifying.
What is it about evil children that makes us so terrified?
People have been asking this same question in various ways for years now. But unfortunately, the answer to the question is still unknown and primarily speculative.
Some say the black-eyed kids are either demonic beings, time-travellers, or aliens from another planet trying to enslave our race.
But then others claim that these scary children are nothing but a myth used in horror movies and legends that have existed for many centuries.
It is said that the black-eyed kids are ominous-looking children who always appear at their victims windows.
They are around 10-12 years old and wearing dark clothes, pale skin and oddly coloured eyes.
The hair of these mysterious kids is usually very dark, almost jet black, with a slight bluish tint to it.
Their lips are darker than the usual pinkish colour and can sometimes even be described as purple-coloured.
They have no known home or origin, as they have been spotted all over our planet Earth.
Some claim that these kids are not too many supernatural creatures but just a group of teenagers who specialise in breaking into houses and doing it for the thrill.
Although they often fail to enter the victim's home, they have still managed to stay under the radar as they move on with their lives as normal teenagers.
It is also said that these children are often very manipulative and can even be downright violent.
The first mention of a Black-Eyed Kid appeared in 1998 when Texan reporter Brian Bethel wrote about an experience he had two years before. He was in his car near a movie theatre.
Bethel claimed two boys around nine and twelve wearing hooded sweatshirts approached his car.
One appeared as an olive-skinned curly-headed young man and the other as a redheaded pale-skinned freckled young man. Bethel flung open the window.
There was a crack sound, and the two boys requested a ride to their mother's house to pick up some money so they could see a movie.
Even today, Bethel recalls feeling a strange dread when the second of the boys spoke.
He pointed out that the movie had already begun, and they wouldn't be able to return in time, but the boys began to push harder, saying things like They were just two kids
and They didn't have a gun
.
And They didn't have anything
. Bethel describes their voices as mechanical and rehearsed.
The strange experience turned terrifying when he realised each boy had black eyes, soulless orbs with no white showing.
He started driving away, but one of the boys banged on his window and cried angrily, We won't be able to enter unless you say so. Let us in!
Bethel sped away and checked his rearview mirror. He noticed that the strange black-eyed children had vanished completely.
Bethel wrote in 2013 that his strange experience with these children began in private communication with a small group of friends on an email list, which was then leaked onto the internet.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find proof of this original document, but Bethel's story is unquestionably the foundation of
