Love and Relationships
Introduction to Love and Relationships
In our search for love, human beings reveal who they are and who they want to be a part of in life’s journey of love. Through no fault of our own, we long for companionship. The road to love can be a road of long travel with trials and tribulations, and some will not complete the journey, but it won’t be from a lack of trying.
It takes all types of people who make up this world, and each individual accounts for his/her feelings towards love, for love is not the same for everyone, but love is given to everyone. Love between human beings isn’t always spoken, but it is shown in one way or another. Some people need to be shown love through affection of a simple kiss, by holding hands, by hugging, or with the act of making love, and then some need to be shown love by the deeds of another—where gifts are given, bills are paid, and other necessities are provided. Sometimes these two examples merge to form the formula for love to succeed. Then there is the proven way for love to succeed, and that is when God is placed first in pursuing a long and lasting love relationship. Only when two hearts come together asking for His blessings will they prosper in their journey for love.
Human beings will feel what they feel, when they want to feel, but nobody can make another person feel. These poems are from a layman who extends his thoughts that may reveal or touch upon what another may feel and may help consolidate that love. The depth of thought that went into these poems originates from deep inside the layman’s innermost thoughts, driven by a deep spiritual connection. Enjoy these poems, and may they positively impact your relationship.
CLOUDY DAYS
I see clouds in the sky, and cupids too,
They are shooting love arrows at me and you.
If cupid’s arrow does strike us, we will be okay,
For it must be meant to be that way.
We can’t run and can’t get away,
The sun won’t stop cupid, nor a cloudy day.
Some clouds make cupids, so plain to see,
They cast doves in the air, for you and me.
The clouds show two hearts that are joined together,
This is a sign, meaning, that our love is forever.
We must believe, for God will have His way,
Beautiful signs sometimes come from a cloudy day.
SUNSHINE ON US
We are not people from a cave, for the light of life is what we crave.
When we close our eyes, we can feel the light.
Just by our faith, we know that this is right.
Let us love and take a stand; we must stand, in the light, hand in hand.
The light is like a blanket in the wintertime, for our lives, we want the light to shine.
The light shines in Spring right on time; it assures us of light, from the Divine.
In every season, God gives us His light to trust.
Let us pray for God’s light to continue shining down on us.
CLEAR SKIES OF BLUE
We will face skies of gray, but God has the power to take that away.
There will be times when the sun will refuse to shine, but through the clouds comes the power of the Divine.
We will face some tears, but we must not fear, for God’s promise is that He will always be near.
Everybody must face some days of rain, and greater are they who endure through pain.
What should be clear is God’s love from above, for He opens up heaven’s door, and upon us comes His love.
We must put God first, no matter what we do,
Then upon our love, there will always be clear skies of blue.
MOONLIGHT TIME
Did I mean that kiss? Of course, I did. I just couldn’t resist!
What a beautiful and lovely night, moonlight time, for the stars are bright.
We can see the moon in the sky.
The moon’s light shines on you and I.
Let me hold your lovely hand.
I’m connecting the stars to write your name.
After this night, nothing will ever be the same.
I want to tell you, as only a man can do.
No words need to be said because we do understand.
All I’m wishing on the stars for, is you!
Tell me the truth. I want to hear it from you,
Do you feel the magic, of moonlight time, like I do?
TRUE
I could give my love to you, about 99 percent.
If I said 100, then that wasn’t meant.
Baby I’m just a man who wants to be with you.
What I feel is what I know to be true.
Let’s take
