    Chapter One

A ll doors that were locked are locked. All the doors that were open will remain open. As I count to three, you will return to us. One, two, three. A soft voice carried into her mind.

Slowly she could feel herself coming back awake if feeling a bit off. Blue eyes were opening to lock on the hovering hazel eyes of her best friend. A soft smile graced her lips, Hi.

Glancing at the time, she started backing toward the door. We have to go. Let me know if you’re interested in the party, Reese!

Lexi and Rach darted out of the room, racing to Rach’s car in the parking lot. Rach glanced over at Lexi when they were settled in their seats. She asked again, "Are you sure you’re alright, Lexi? You had us scared. You were responding to start with, after a few minutes, you started talking in a language none of us knew in a really creepy voice. The lights were flickering. Something slammed Leeah’s boyfriend into the wall. Reese walked me through the closing, and you
