About this ebook

In the last days, Christians will need to learn to walk like Jesus and his apostles once did. What covenant was He confirming during the three and half years of his ministry?

God has unlocked some of the mysteries of the New Covenant, revealing how we can access the promises that were given to Abraham and learn to walk in the Sonship we are called into.

Having experienced first-hand God's powerful confirmations they have been written down to equip other fellow believers.

    INTRODUCTION

    To grow we must be planted in the true vine that is Christ Jesus only then can we see true fruit emerge out of  our lives.

    Jesus called us to follow him, to be his disciples.

    Being a disciple is not just attending a Church, there's a whole lot more.

    disciples, mathetes ( math-ay-tace );

    from the verb manthano, to learn whose root math suggests thought with effort put forth. A disciple is a learner, one who follows both the teaching and the Teacher.

    1 JOHN 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

    This verse is not doing away with the ascension gifts given by the Lord but is showing that trusting the Holy Spirit to lead you into all truth is part of the Christian life and we will know when what we are being taught is in alignment with Scripture.

    So I encourage you to read what I feel the Spirit has prompted me to write while resting under the anointing.

    Chapter 1

    THE FIRST PART OF THE MESSAGE

    Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

    From this one prophecy, nearly all interpretations of eschatology (end times' subjects) have been derived (ie. The book of Revelations is interpreted through this prophecy). Since studying it I have found that how you view the end times' subjects can have an effect on your life now. The reason I say this is because, when talking to my pastor about the subject he asked two relevant questions.

    1. What’s the benefit of knowing anyway?

    2. Will it matter if I know or do not know, it’s still going to happen anyway?

    At that time I did not really know the answer, although I was sure there must be a good reason for knowing what prophecy means in advance, especially in the book of Revelation. After some thought I realised this;

    What you believe will happen in the last days affects the way you will live in the present .

    For example, if you thought the Lord could come back at any time because all the prophecy requirements for him to return had been fulfilled. You possibly would be more eager to seek the kingdom of God first. An expectancy attitude could develop, far more than if you were just waiting for a certain  prophecy to take place. This is just a possible example of certain attitudes that could develop. Making long-term decisions could also be affected. Or another example could be; You read there is going to be a famine, so decisions like where you live can be a factor. Or should you act on this information by stockpiling for the famine now? You see, the things you think are going to happen can affect your decisions now. When reading verses like;

    2 Peter 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

    24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

    You can see how expectancy can develop. But at the same time, there is a warning in Scripture saying in   2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

    2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

    2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

    This clearly shows that there is prophecy that will be fulfilled so not having an overbalanced attitude seems to be the answer when dealing with this subject.   Also, another caution rears its head when looking at prophecy, and its interpretation.

    Rev.22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues
