Prologue

I s it done?

Almost, I just need to add the finishing touches to our son's sword, he's almost here Tygra. The young looking girl put down her hammer, and rubbed her belly, a young looking man with a short beard walked up to her and rubbed her belly,

He's going to be one strong warrior, he'll be a great help in the war against Drogoth and the Dark Knights. She lifted the sword from the anvil and placed it on the workbench. She then started to screaming in pain, Tygra put his hands on her back,

Mara are you okay!? She looked at him,

He's coming! She screamed in pain again and then she fainted,

Mara... Mara!... Wake up! She faintly opened her eyes,

We must see Marhi, he knows where Zaria is and she can give our son the power he needs to defeat the Darkness and Drogoth.

So is this that prophecy you keep going on about? Can we believe it when we’ve never met the one that made it up?

The Arknid's visions never lie, Tygra they said I’d be pregnant and here I am, how can we not believe their words? We must have hope to survive. Tygra looked Mara and saw that she was going pale, he stood up and looked at a soldier that was standing by the door,

Hunter fetch me my horse! Hunter nodded and ran out of the room, he picked up Mara and started carrying her out the room and down the staircase out of the castle and Hunter was there with the horse,

Where are you going milord? He looked at Hunter,

I'm going to see Marhi and the EarthLanders, see if they can help us with this madness. Tygra tied Mara on the back of the horse and got up and Hunter gave him his sword and bow,

Just in case you come into contact with the Dark Knights and do you really believe in this prophecy your wife and the EarthLanders believes in? Tygra shrugged,

It doesn’t matter what I believe in, all that matters is ending the Darkness and Drogoth’s tyranny and I’m willing to do anything to further that goal. Hunter nodded,

Be careful milord, lots of evil out there. Tygra smiled and nodded,

I’m always careful and no Dark Knights can stop me. Hunter nodded, Tygra started riding away and out of the castle grounds and out of the city of Evermore and towards the Forest of Solitude,

Careful Tygra, we can’t risk the Darkness knowing we’re on the way there, they’ll follow us back and we’ll all be doomed. Tygra reached back and rubbed her face,

Shh rest my darling, we’ll get there with no problems and if we do encounter any problems, I’ll kill them! Noone is going to kill our son. After a while of riding they reached the entrance of the Forest of Solitude, and just then four Dark Knights were riding up behind them on zarses, dead horses brought back to life with the Darkness. They started shooting at him with bows and Tygra took out his bow and started shooting back at them. He hit the front one in the head and he fell of the his zarse and it fell to the ground, the other three started riding up to him faster and the second one jumped of his zarse and went to stab him in the chest but he shot an arrow at his throat and he fell to the ground. The third Dark Knight’s zarse trampled over his body and shot at Tygra and hit him in the shoulder and he jumped off his horse and on the zarse and stabbed the Dark Knight and jumped back to his horse. The last Dark Knight took out a mace and threw it at him and missed and then he got shot by an arrow in the trees, Tygra stopped his horse and looked up into the trees, he saw a man with a bow in his standing on a tree branch

Follow me King Tygra! The man started leaping through the trees and Tygra followed him on the horse. He followed the man to a giant castle in the trees, the man threw a ladder down, climb up Tygra! Tygra got off his horse and untied Mara and lifted her on his shoulders and started climbing the ladder, when he reached the top, two EarthLanders grabbed Mara and took her away to the castle. Tygra looked at the soldiers and then back at the man,

Where are they taking her Marhi? Marhi put his hands on Tygra’s shoulders,

Relax Tygra, they’re taking her to our infirmary, she’s losing a lot of blood and is dying, they’ll make sure your son is alive and then focus on wifes situation from there, but for now let’s go into my throne room, I have lots to discuss with you Tygra. They started walking towards Marhi’s throne room. As they were walking through the castle Tygra kept looking down and wondered to himself how no one has fell to their deaths,

Has anyone fallen down Marhi? Marhi looked back at Tygra and smiled,

Of all the possible questions you ask of me, that’s the one you choose? King Tygra smiled and shrugged,

I’m just curious, this is a very secure castle but there had to be incidents of your men falling to their deaths right? Marhi chuckled and shook his head,

No they haven’t actually, us EarhtLanders are one with the Earth and it gives us the power to be connected in a spiritual way and a physical one as well. King Tygra nodded, and put his hand on the railing,

Okay noted, I’ll hold onto this just so I don’t feel queasy and fall. Marhi smiled and nodded,

Sounds like a good idea. They reached the throne room and Marhi opened the doors, when they entered they were greeted by EarthLander soldiers and Marhi sat down on his throne,

So what is it you wanted to discuss? Marhi dismissed the soldiers and they walked out of the throne room and they were the only two in the throne room,

It’s that prophecy you don’t believe is actually real, you must know that it has a chance to be real or you wouldn’t be here Tygra, would that be a correct statement? Tygra nodded,

Yes it would be correct, what’s the point?

Well you’re going to need the help of Zaria and her Arknids.

Yes I know that but the problem is I don’t know where they are. Marhi smirked,

Well my dear King Tygra, you’re in luck because I do and you’ll need to go there as soon as your son is born, with him and Mara, she’ll need to be there for the ritual. Just then a EarthLander burst through the doors into the throne room,

Marhi, King Tygra! Come quickly, we have a situation. They followed the soldier out of the throne and to the infirmary. They reached the infirmary and saw three EarthLander medics standing over Mara who was covered in blood and one of the medics was holding a baby, who was crying. Tygra ran up to Mara and grabbed her hand,

Mara! She faintly looked at him,

Tygra isn’t he beautiful, he’s going to be a strong man when he grows up with you by his side training him. Tygra started to cry and nodded,

Yes he will be. Marhi put his hand on Tygra’s back,

Not to ruin a good moment Tygra but she’s dying and you need to make it to the Arknids before she does, I’ll have my navigator Octoban lead you the way, he knows where he’s going. Octoban walked up to the side of Marhi."

Hello King Tygra, come with me. He stood up and nodded and picked up Mara and Octoban took their son and they started walking out the infirmary and towards the stables. They reached the stables and there were two horses, Octoban got on one and Tygra tied Mara to the back of the other one and got up on the horse and Octoban nodded to the EarthLander guard in the watchtower and the guard pulled a lever and the wall moved down into a ramp to the ground, they started riding their horses through the Forest of Solitude towards the Arknid's Cave. Just then she heard other horses coming from the left and right side and she looked over and saw a zarse, riding the zarse was a Dark Knight, a soldier of the Darkness. He had a sword in his hand. Octoban pulled out a sword and slashed at the Dark Knight on the right side and  he cut him in the shoulder and the Dark Knight slashed back at him but Octoban deflected it and stabbed him in the chest and he fell on the ground and died. The Dark Knight on the left side pulled out a bow and arrow and shot it at Octoban and hit him in the shoulder, he took it out and threw it on the ground and he slashed the Dark Knight in the chest and he fell and died. After a while of riding their horses they made it to the Arknid's Cave, at the entrance were two arachnid humanoid creatures wearing armor were standing there with two legs and six arms and six eyes, they got off their horses and walked towards the creatures, they looked at Octoban

Octoban, why are you here? You have the Elemental of Earth? He nodded, and showed them the baby in his arms,

Yes he’s right here, and she’s her as well. He motioned behind him with his head, they looked at Tygra and walked up to him,

Is she hurt? Tygra nodded,

Yes, she’s bleeding out. They took her off Tygron's shoulders, and carried her into the cave, Octoban and Tygra followed them into the cave. After a while of walking they reached a large room and hanging on a web, was a Arknid wearing a black dress, the soldiers put Mara on an altar in the middle of the room,

She and the baby are here my queen, as are the king and Ocotoban.

Hello King Tygra, pleasure to finally meet you and hello once again Octoban has been too long, I see you have the Elemental of Earth in your possession, place him on the altar with her and we can start this ritual. Tygra looked up at Zaria,

What are you talking about? Zaria climbed out of the web and walked up to the altar,

What I mean is that Mara here is sacrificing her Nepharia and putting it into your son and making him the most powerful being in all of Dastross, as she is Ancient, the last one.

What do you mean Drogoth and the Dark Knights killed them all and Mara was in a bandit camp, led by the Dark Knights, she was weak and I saved her, she would’ve told me.

She wanted to Tygra but couldn’t in fear of Drogoth finding out and send his Dark Knights to kill her, why else do you think she believed in that Prophecy, well it’s because she helped create it.

I could’ve protected her, I’ve fought and killed the Dark Knights. Zaria shook her head,

He would’ve sent his entire army to destroy your city and kill everyone and kill her, you wouldn’t be able to stand a chance, why do you think the Great War ended the way it did, you know deep down inside you knew, you knew this was her purpose, that’s why you’re here Tygra and she will live on in the Soul Dimension and in your son. Tygra nodded,

Okay do what must be done but before that let me have my last words with her before she goes. Zaria nodded,

Of course Tygra. He walked up to the altar and grabbed Mara’s hand and she faintly looked at him,
