About this ebook

Happy #Orctober everyone!
Tribal Indagation is a gay Orc erotica story set in a medieval fantasy world where tribes of orcs are visiting human settlements on the border of the human kingdom. Sir Reighly is dispatched by his King to complete an indagation (Investigation) into the Orcine tribes to see if they pose a threat. After making contact he observes a rather lewd recruitment ceremony as the orcs recruit a young human into their tribe. Entranced the knight begs leave from his king to be recruited to complete his research. With some graphic homoerotic scenes this is the first part in a two-part series detailing Sir Reighly’s investigation into the orc tribes and his pursuit of recruitment; which turns out not to be as easy as he thinks.

Hello and thanks for checking out my Smashwords account. My name is Sisco Polaris. I am a writer who specialises in furry erotica, mostly gay. I have been writing furry erotica for the last fourteen years. I take time to develop characters, invest in the story and prefer to let the erotic elements happen when they feel natural. I write stories with erotic elements, not sex scenes with a vague frame of a story to excuse it.I am currently working on an Anthology of stories with another furry author and an artist. I have had a story accepted for the Sofawolf Press issue of Hot Dish 2 and several Thurston Howl anthologies, including Seven Deadly sins, Breeds wolves and Breeds Foxes. I have also had my novel, The Stable Boy accepted and published by Thurston Howl Publishing. I have published my own novel Dyeing to be with you and an anthology of Orc erotica. I plan to continue to work on novels, in between producing as many short stories as I can.

Please remember an orc is for life not just for Orctober. I have been in love with those big green lugs for a long time, they are always a delight to write about. I had a wonderful time writing this little story series for my patrons on Patreon and am thrilled to bring it out in ebook format. A special thanks to @pure_command who lent his artistic talents to this anthology. As with my other works there are scenes in this series that are deeply graphically sexual and so please no under eighteens. The first chapter is in a slightly different format as it is written in second person perspective. While fun for the first chapter I switched to first person for the remainder of the series in order to help the flow and especially to make the sexual scenes more enjoyable. I hope you all enjoy. One last special thanks to my patrons who keep me writing, you guys rock.

    Commission of Orcine Research

    Salutations your Royal Highness,

I hope this missive finds you in good health and that things go well in the capital. All appears in order on the southern marches. As per your command, I have conducted an indagation into the Orcine tribes on our southern border. I attach my initial report in full. However, if your Majesty requires more in-depth information then the lengths I may need to go to collect more up-close information are extreme. You will understand the exact depths you are asking me to sink to after you read my report. My love for the kingdom is strong, if you command it I will sink my soul to the very depths of hell. For the honour and glory of the land.

    Your loyal servant

    Sir Reighly of Durban

14th Hannuy in the year of our Lord 547.

I arrived in the town of Gern early in the morn. My intent had been to arrive several days earlier. However, the trade caravan I was travelling with was waylaid just south of Dernham. The rogues who ambushed us soon learned the folly of crossing swords with one of the King's personal guard. Three of the insolent whelps died at my hand, several others were felled by my brave companions. While we dealt them a sore blow, I would recommend your Highness dispatch a vintaines of soldiers to deal with the survivors.

Our caravan did not escape the encounter unscathed, two of our company gave their lives and three suffered serious wounds. Through the skill of my training, I escaped unscathed. However, the time it took to bury our dead meant I missed my intention to arrive before midsummer. I had heard that the Orcine tribes hold a big celebration at midsummers and hoped to observe, but thanks to those rogues I missed it.

I took a room at the local tavern, I was surprised to see several of the green-skinned orcine walking the streets. The reports on them, I had read in preparation for this investigation, were very flawed. They spoke of savage animals utterly beyond control or reason.

However, they walked the streets of Gern peacefully. The locals showed neither fear nor concern at their presence. Their appearance is much like that of a man, only their skin is in hues of green or brown. In form, they are far larger than all but the most giant of men. It is as if some god has bestowed their race with muscles that any man would be proud to boast of.

Their hair is thick, coarse and black. Beards are the norm. I would be remiss in my duty if I did not mention their tusks. Most of the orcine I observed had at least two tusks sticking out of their thick lips. Many had carved images and symbols into their own ivory. Some wore rings or bands of various metals on their tusks. At least one I spied had a ruby set on the tips of each tusk.

They dress mainly in leathers and only small amounts of the material. Most wear nothing more than a simple loincloth. Their skin is a range of colours, my local contact, the Sheriff of Gern, informed me that the skin of an orc denotes its age. A young warrior just reached full grown orchood has skin very pale, like the pale green of new grass. While an elder leader of their tribe is far darker, one orcine I observed was the dark green of a pine needle.

I met with the Sheriff shortly after I had secured a room at the tavern. He had received your instruction a few days prior to my arrival. It was amusing to see the look on the border man’s face and the pride he had in receiving a letter from his king. I judge him to be a loyal man if one of limited wit. However, this far from the capital I have learned to keep my expectations low. These may be the salt of the earth loyal subjects, but I doubt they would know the difference between fine red wine and the dregs at the bottom of an ale barrow.

The sheriff was able to share some interesting facts about the orcine. They are mostly nomadic, back in the last century there were some border skirmishes with the tribes. That much we already knew. Each tribe is independent, like their own nation, however, many customs are shared throughout the tribes. In times of emergency, the tribes can be united under one leader.

While their metalwork is poor by comparison to even a simple village blacksmith, their natural strength and speed make them a highly formidable foe. They favour the bow at distance, but up close they use knives, long enough to be considered a short sword. Each warrior is trained from birth to fight. My lord, these are a tough people and I would caution any general not to underestimate their abilities.

The most interesting fact I learned from the Sheriff was that the Orcine species is entirely male. There are no orc women, at least not born that way. From what I have been told they procreate with other species, including humans. As hard as it is to conceive, I have learned that these beasts recruit even from your own subjects. The people here have grown accustomed to this and it does not raise any comment or suspicion. I have been told that recruitment, as they call it, occurs regularly. The sheriff insists I will be able to see it for myself if I stay long enough. It is only just the first day and already I find myself wondering exactly what I am going to uncover on this primitive people.

15th Hannuy in the year of our Lord 547.

My evening proved interesting. I spoke to my first orc directly. An orange-skinned man named Ba’arus. He claims to be from the tribe of the blood mountains. They are visiting Gern in some number to trade animals furs and trinkets for supplies as well as to potentially recruit. The savage fool brazenly asked if I had come to Gern seeking recruitment. I told him I was a man of the king and I would never serve anyone but your highness. Ba’arus took my rejection in good humour and bought me a pint of ale. The ale here is robust, but as a warning to any future visitors, it is far stronger than that found in more civilised corners of the realm. The men and orcs encourage you to drink heartily with many a toast. It would be easy for someone of less wit or caution to be robbed of all reason by too much ale.

I saw many of the farm hands become merry and much song and dance was had. The orcine were all too willing to join in and danced with men and womenfolk alike.

In the corner of the tavern, I found a group of orcine, they were gathered around an one of their group with very light green skin. The youngest of their company, or so Ba’arus told me. The young was getting a marking to celebrate his first journey to our lands. I watched the marking with interest.

The young male was laying chest down over a table. While around him his friends drank and laughed. One of the older males held a wooden rod, with a metal tip. He heated the tip on a candle, then dipped the tip into a bowl of black liquid The hiss was loud enough to hear over the din of the tavern. While the scent was bitter and acrid. Next, he pressed the tip into the young orcine’s flesh and he squealed, while his friends laughed and held him down.

A stranger scene or custom I have never witnessed. Over and over they burned the fluid into his skin, the stench fair turned my stomach, burnt orcine flesh. However,
