About this ebook
In a world where dragon is believed to be extinct, the reader found a dragon egg by chance. But that itself will bring a whole new adventure ahead, where different steps will lead to different outcomes. Wise choices can bring reader to witches forest, or a treasure, or dragon island. On the contrary, other choices can have you stuck in prison cell! What would it be?
This book has a total of 28 different endings. Reader can try again and again until they reach all endings, with every single one of the endings valuable to the big picture of the story, even to the other adventure in the next book. Reader can put themselves wholly as the protagonist of the story, free to name each character to their liking, picture characters' physical appearance, and how they would talk in their mind.
After all, this book is completely altered by the reader, not the writer. There are cool pictures inside that can help you with your imagination though! How exciting! Going through all the choices is all automated, just one click away to the destination page. Or it is your destiny page?
What is different about this choose your own adventure book is how it shows the motive behind every choice, we can learn how people would do certain things because they have their own reason for it. We can see from different perspective and not just do it because of some random choice. Although technically this book is for kids, the good moral value fits with any age, young or old.
The author wrote this book with the purpose of entertaining bookworm with so many magical things inside this series, but also to show them the nature of life. We can have fun reading while also learning a thing or two. Book 1 is about dragons. I wonder what book 2 is all about. You can also catch the next book teaser inside! The adventure awaits you!

Reading has been a hobby of Freya ever since she was a child, fantasy genre in particular. Unfortunately during her childhood, there was almost close to zero new choose-your-own-adventure books, books she really liked and hoped to read. People said that if you can not find the book you want to read, write it instead. So here she is, writing series of books, particularly choose-your-own-adventure books of many themes and variety.

Choose your Own Story - Freya Vert
Once upon a time
In a small village far at the northeast of Galia kingdom, lived a humble family consist of a single father with his two children. You are part of this family who will have a fantastic journey full of wonder, and along with it, also comes danger. Would you like to be...
❖ The older sibling (go to page 3)
❖ The younger sibling (go to page 4)
You choose older sibling
You love your family so much, being the older one, you help your father as much as you can, doing farm work and caring for the animal. You also feel some responsibility toward your younger sister. She just turned 6 years old last month. She had long silky dark brown hair, which reminds you of your long-lost mother. She is also a kind-hearted kid, just like your mother.
Your father, while trying to be there for both of you as his time allows it, also had tons of work. You understand that, so you try taking some of his burden. So, at times you find yourself cooking for you and your sister, also providing some food for your father after he comes home late at night.
One day you and your little sister go to swim at the lake since the weather is nice and warm. You also bring some bedsheets to wash. Your sister already swam in the water. What should you do?
❖ Take a swim too and play in the water with your sister (go to page 62)
❖ Finish washing the sheet first (go to page 64)
You choose younger sibling
You just turned 7 last month. You are very happy you get to be older now and probably can help feed the chicken and some other tasks at the farm. You see how tired your father comes after work, also your big sister who do whatever she can to help. You love them and also want to help.
You promise yourself to grow big and strong to be able to protect your big sister. You don’t remember your mother much, since she has long been gone, you were too young to remember. But her voice while singing the lullaby until you fell asleep still stick in your mind, maybe not so much about the detail of her voice, but how her voice felt like the epitome of warm and safe. Your big sister sings sometimes, her melodious voice somehow reminds you of those warm nights far in the past.
One day, you go with your big sister to the market in the next town. Because your family farm is quite far away from neighboring town in general, even the closest market takes a day to walk back and forward. You like to walk, so you go with a happy heart. You like to see places.
When both of you arrive there, your sister goes straight to the usual shop owner to buy some essential materials. You hang behind your big sister, while raking your eyes over. You see a new fruit stand, a lady you have never seen before guarding the stand. For some reason you can’t quite explain, there is something familiar with this lady.
After your big sister finishes her business buying and exchanging stuff from the farm, you bring her along to the fruit stand. At a closer inspection, you find that she looks like your mother, or what you remember of her anyway. The lady welcomes you both, offering a variety of fresh fruits.
Your sister asks if you want any fruit in particular. You have plenty of fruits back at home, so you are almost rejecting her offer, but then you see something curious at the very left corner of the table. It is an egg. It is so weird among the other fresh fruits. What is an egg doing there?
You ask the lady about the egg. She explains that she found the egg at a lake, but she doesn’t know what it is, so she just tries to sell it. The egg really catches your attention. You ask your sister if she can afford to buy it. Your sister complies, mentions to the lady that your father has a farm, he may know about the egg and it can be a nice addition to the farm. The lady sells it at a cheap price. You are happy with the exchange.
Back home your father also doesn’t know about the mysterious egg, but says that the egg is now your responsibility, do with it whatever you like. You still think this is an important egg after all. Who have ever seen this kind of motive on an eggshell? Even the color is very weird, it’s purple and green blended together nicely, but purple itself is not the color you find easily in the wild. So, this must be something precious that’s lost somehow. You take care of the egg with all your heart, keeping it safe and comfortable.
Just several days after, there is decree from the Galia kingdom heard throughout the land. The decree expresses that the king is looking for the lost dragon egg. The egg itself is believed to be hidden somewhere in Galia. Whoever bring this egg forward will be compensated with plenty of riches.
It is such a shocking news because dragon species has been extinct for some decades. For the king to make such an official news, it must be true. Dragon egg, truly a discovery of a lifetime! To be able to have dragon live among us humans again! What a great future ahead of us!
Your father vocalizes that they can try bringing the mysterious egg to the palace. It seems promising enough, and it is win-win situation. If it really is a dragon egg, they will be compensated nicely; if not, they still have nothing to lose. But he lays the choice to you, it is your egg after all.
Your big sister voices that it is up to you, it is your egg. You are quite confident it is a dragon egg. But you have a bad feeling about this. You don’t like the tone in the kingdom’s decree. And other people might not understand, but you feel some kind of bond with the egg, like you need to raise it and keep it safe. It is almost like destiny how you found the egg. What should you do?
❖ Bring the egg to the king, as instructed by the kingdom (go to page 30)
❖ Follow your heart and keep the egg (go to page 7)
Follow your heart, keep the egg out of harm way
You trust your heart . Despite what it may suggests, you have a bad feeling about the king’s order. Besides, it is only a day after the decree, you can afford to spend another day waiting what will happen to the egg. While doing so you can also open your ears to what other people know or hear about the king’s order.
At the end you don’t need to wait a long time, because three days later the egg is hatched. And come out of it, is a dragon. And what an extraordinary dragon it is. It is red in color; you can feel the truly extraordinary life and passion from it. Due to its attracting color, you named the dragon as Ruby. It is quite fitting for the dragon, in your humble opinion.
You just know it is a dragon with big destiny ahead of it, full of adventure and greatness. And you definitely know the dragon can’t be held down in Galia. Before long you have heard news and rumors about how the king captures everybody who dare to present the potential lost dragon egg. People keep missing. They come to the palace and never come out from it.
It is not safe in Galia anymore. Your father also agrees that the situation doesn’t look well now. Who knows what the king does to the innocent people who he held captive, more so to the dragon if he catches a whiff of it? So, your whole family decides to leave Galia, leave the whole farm and house. it is not an easy decision; you feel it is the right decision. But where should you go?
❖ Head east, you can keep you Ruby hidden in the enormous east jungle (go to page 21)
❖ Head north, where the Galia kingdom has no ally (go to page 9)
Go north
You reach conclusion that the safest route will be where the Galia kingdom has no ally. Galia is a big and prosperous kingdom, with many other kingdoms even from afar on their good side. They have good relation with kingdoms at the west, so that is definitely not the place to go. East and south are areas you need tremendous skill to survive, and you don’t know much about jungle and desert and everything in between.
So north it is. The North is quite a cold place but you are confident you can survive the cold. It is not too different from winter in Galia, you suppose. The North keeps to themselves well, not interacting much with other kingdoms. In the right situation, you can merge well with them and hopefully can even build a life there.
The journey itself is not easy. You cross tall mountains with dangerous wild animals in between. Thankfully it seems like they are scared of the dragon, maybe it’s the hierarchy of creatures of the wild. Ruby is a very active and passionate creature. She is also very curious about life all around. After hatching, you can see her smelling her surrounding, the air, the trees, anything. She also has a great sense of survival. Somehow she saved you from mushroom poisoning multiple times already.
The North has wide gap between each of its kingdoms, since they have a vast and spacious land. The closest kingdom is Orceen. Orceen is one third the size of Galia, with less people living within. Automatically it leaves larger space for everybody, something you can make use for. Ruby will definitely
